Me and the family used to rent this from KBAY when I still lived full time in Hawaii. Try to get back as often as I can. We have a 22 foot pontoon out in Discovery Bay. Love the pontoons. Great family fun.
On this day the pontoon boat was rented from the Kaneohe Marine Base. The pilot of the boat had to take a class in order to rent it. There are also lot of boats that take tourist and locals out to the sandbar. If you have your own boat, you can launch from He'eia Kea Boat Harbor. Probably better to go with someone who knows the bay as there is a lot of shallow reef between the boat harbor and the sandbar. Have fun and be safe! 🤙
