Oh My God, such a mesmerizing performance, I was literally in tears. Felt like I am in the Battlefield of Kurukshetra and watching the Execution of the Chakravyuha. Great work by the dancers who enacted Bhishma and Abhimanyu. What a beautiful depiction of the repentance of killing a boy warrior and the shameful exit with heads down. Hats off to the Chhau group. Great tradition, Keep it up. Jay Jagannath.

Chhau dance one of most the difficult dance like Russian belle dance , here every action have meaning , the music set for this dance is also have some meaning . Maharaja of Mayubhanaj late Krishna Chandra Bhanja deo promoted this dance . Either Orissa Govt or centra govt never took so serious to develop this dance
