Nice vid. Beautiful ’Mill Pond’ conditions. With those tricky hollow face or cup face lures I put a small split ring on - much easier to attach the clip, especially in poor or low light (I need specs). Some days it’s actually feels good to go through the whole collection of lures - at least you know you ‘tried them all’ before going home after a blank. This time it paid off. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Thanks for sharing. Very watchable !!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Dan…. I was confident they were there …. I could see them trailing the lure…. It was just tapping into something that made them strike! Thanks for watching
Just watched it. Great vid. Left a comment about not pleasing everyone because of the snotty comments by “Karl Fox” - who doesn’t post any vids just watches. And is annoyed about secrecy of locations 🙄🙄🙄 ❗️ ignore these comments- keep posting/creating/sharing 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻@@theoccasionalangler6956 Karl Fox
One of my fav spots. That side of the street seems a lot more productive though. Perfect time too before the regular swimmers turn up. You worked hard for that one Guy - just shows that persistence pays. 🎣🐟
High, good to see you back, nice looking reel too. I am not so lucky 😞 just had a week in Torquay, went to my car on Thursday morning to get my gear from the car, empty space no bag of tackle and no rod grrrrr some thieving toe rag had nicked it. Absolutely devastated, probably the best part 5 to 600 quids worth thats just lures/ plastics & reels without all the other odds n sods. Guest house has good cctv footage so hopefully the police can nab the little shit. So no lure fishing for me for a while until I can replace some of it. Picked up a savage gear sg2 7/35 gram in Torquay Harbour tackle shop so that's a start. Nice video as always looks like absolutely bang on conditions. All the best Les. 👍
@@theoccasionalangler6956 ye'p I hope so too, tried to call them today phone just rang for over an hour. The guy from the guest house saw him in town public car park and the police chasing him but he's not sure if they caught him or not. Tried to get in touch so they put 2and 2 together, guess i will have to wait until Monday now. He might not have moved it on yet could still be in his digs. Fingers crossed 🤞 but not holding any breath. Cheers 🍻 Les
Great and realistic video :) I tried to catch sea bass 2 days ago for 2 hours in Hove.I tried IMA pugachevs cobra(2 different colors),komomo 2(3 different colors),pozidrive garage swing wobler and spank walker, daiwa shoreliner vertice 97 f, galva, th feed shallow, many spinners and jigs like sg seeker, mc jigpara, many soft plastics storm 360gt, fiiish black minnow, sg minnow but finally I got 2 sea bass with megabass zonk :) I remembered your video and tried zonk. I think the Uk seabasses like zonk more than anything.
@@lureinspector I basically don’t fish in murky conditions. Really dark colours or white are considered good for muddy water . Clear I like natural colours blue/ silver clear bodies with a flashy foil inside
The sea state looked perfect. Hard work, but it resulted in a good looking fish! I was just wondering if you have done a bait caster tutorial? Regards, Andy.
@@theoccasionalangler6956 A tutorial would be great! I tried using a bait caster 20 years ago, and had a birds nest every cast. I gave the rod and reel away. I fancied giving it another go, so my local tackle shop have kitted me out with what I believe is a passable outfit. I fancied it would be useful for connecting with Bass and Flathead 😀
@@andysmith819 yes baitcasters have moved on a bit. Be careful, they really don’t like saltwater (especially as the salt content in much higher in OZ) . What reel have you got?
I've just started lure fishing off the street recently. Not yet had any luck with the savage gear seekers but I'm going to try a couple of these surface lures I think. I used to live in the town but now moved to Faversham and have a young family so my fishing window is Sunday mornings between 5am and 8am. My question is have you found the fishing off the beach to be any more successful on the ebb or the flow tide? I have really enjoyed watching your videos so thanks for the content and you've got a new subscriber here👍🏻👍🏻
Patience is a bass as you have proven changing up I think we all do , your belief that there lay a bass in perfect conditions is justice to you. I’d be moving thinking there’s no bass here. I love the north Kent coast but for me water clarity is mostly crap I feel to be successful you need to live close by
Yes it definitely help to be close. I monitor the wind carefully… a day of still or southerly winds will start to clear the water. The it’s timing the tide. If those things come together… you can expect bass
About time …. I love this channel and I know life takes over and making time for editing and actually getting out on the bank ….. but all the shorts are annoying . All the best thanks for upload . I’m a better angler at targeting chub from watching your channel . Thanks bro 👊🏻

Brilliant video enjoy that 🐟🎣🎣
