The only problem is that you don't know if you have an old windbag who needs a software update or a seasoned expert. You have to study these guys on an individual basis.
To not check the weather shows that he is relying more on his memories of his past experiences and he has not bothered to gather all the current data in the field. Did he bother to look into all the numbers , in the field ? The number of Russian soldiers vs, Ukrainian, number of tanks, number of bullets , guns etc, etc. If he is lazy and just wants to get paid a few bucks for an interview, then he wouldn't bother.

Dude get on the same page as the rest of the world. Its not stalled it flat out failed. I woyld argue it failed within the first week. After all those western equipment was set to rest in Bradley square the Ukrainians changed tactics and lost any chance of a breakthrough. Simply stated they started using infantry to push forward at great cost. And the chancez of infantry making a break through is pretty slim.

The Ukrainian counter offensive lasted a few weeks and they essentially shelved it when it was obvious the Russians were plenty prepared. Its been Russia on the offensive for most of the last 6 months and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

5:09: Not mentioned: Ship was carrying thousands of shells, explaining the massive explosion. Navy ships are never left unmanned as a matter of fire safety and other considerations. Crew not on board was likely in the warehouse next to the ship. Notice that building was also destroyed. In fact, the explosion was so intense, you can see that the dock is heavily damaged along with nearby ships. You can even see a ship a considerable distance away on another dock that is now underwater.

When the Grandcamp exploded in Texas City, it heavily damaged a ship docked nearby, which also later exploded itself.

Ukraine just liberated the Western Black Sea, chased the Russian Black Sea fleet out of Sevastopol, forced rotary aircraft way East and has now interdicted Russian fixed wing craft over Kherson.
In the South and East they didn't do very well, but attrition takes time.
Ukraine has recovered over 50% of territory previously occupied by the invading Russian forces. Look at the whole war to date not just recent battles and you can see who has really taken territories.
I wish our congress would get their shit together and approve the aid.

When the Ukrainian were on the offensive you didn't say the Russians had stalled. Why are you saying the Ukrainian have stalled. It is winter in it is the right time to be on the defensive. Fighting in this area in the winter isn't smart. Remember Napolitano and the Germans. If we in the west give them what they need in a timely fashion they will go on another offensive in the last spring and summer.

The headlines for me looking back over close to two years of fighting are over 50% of previously occupied Ukrainian land now liberated, the Black Sea fleet rendered inactive and Crimea now under threat from a foot hold on the left bank of the Dnipro river. With F-16 arrivals, 2024 will see a decisive push into Crimea and the final fall of Putin.
