It’s sad that most of her die heart fan remember her for 1 or 2 movies, while she has worked in a handful of movies where her performance was par excellent. Once she replaced the megastar Madhubala, as the heroine. It was not an easy task at that time.

mai 1962 me sirf 9 saal ka ek ladka jo Shammikapoor ka blind fan(still today) lekin professor dekhane ke baad Kalpnaji ka itna fan ho gya ki sirf unke liye hi barbar professor dekhi thi. Jab ki Shammikapoor ki movies to ab tak frequently dekhta hu. Inki cancer hone ke bad ki tasvir ne muze ranj me dal diya. Unka hak banta tha ek achchi graceful jindagi jine ka lekin, khair jo marji khooda ki......RIP
