this is litterally jojo but so fucking different
and its so cool
I like how they determine if people were spies through the standard methods of spy checking. Such as the flamethrower, straight up shooting them, and in the case of heavy, whether or not he can throw a Sandvich. Nice to see some gameplay aspects being put to work here.
It is really cool. And kinda realistic.
ONLY IF PEOPLE DID THIS IN REAL GAMES
@@pancakes4795 They do. If someone can shoot or swing they aren't a spy. It just that people don't waste their time on that.
I was half expecting heavy to say "The burning? The pain? It is shame..."

I love how seamless you manage to make the characters talk with the limited voice lines, great work!
You’d just need to be very creative.
In case people start asking why Heavy Guy didn't just use his stand from the start:
1. He needed more information on what Fight The System could do. Once he figured out that it was just a wristblade that could mess with the server, he let Spy have it.
2. His plan from the beginning was to send him into the Pit to Hell. He couldn't just kill him - for all we know, Spy could have given himself infinite respawns.
Awesome, can't wait for RED Heavy to meet BLU Soldier. Hopefully the next episode will feature a Hamon user.

cheers mate
the facial animations on the Heavy inparticular are just spectacular! So much character in his subtle movements
Dude I just found this series today this is fucking awesome! Smashing together TF2 and JoJo with a twist of the wider story established in episode 1! The dialogue and sentence mixing is seamless, the action is great, the stands are awesome, and I LOVE the way you use the server stuff! Everyone being alerted to respawns being disabled for example, and I laughed HARD at the Spy hitting his head on the invisible ceiling! I've never seen anything quite like them before in an SFM movie! You captured the way JoJo tells its stories very well, and I'm already quite invested in the exploits the Security Soldier and Jotaro Heavy are gonna get into, and the stand-using classes they'll come up against!
You earned a sub today, and I'm going to spread this around for sure! SFM creators with this much passion deserve to be recognized!
WoW the animation was amazing story too but the dialoge was hands down just best for how much they talked. This video deserve more than just 500 views.
This SFM is GREAT, seriously man you did a great job. I wish this wasn't so underrated and had more views. The animation is good, and the story is great. Don't give up and keep on making those, I love your content. 😃
see, this is one of the main reasons why i do these videos, it's for people like you! i greatly appreciate the feedback that everyone has put out in my TF2 and FNaF SFM vids! but don't worry I will put out more content!
*I currently have over 15 confirmed episodes for this particular TF2 series!*
unfortunately content like this takes a long time to make (took a month or so to make Endless Greed, in comparison to EP:01) and to get recognized among the SFM/TF2 community, it'll take even longer, but comments like this are a major motivation for me to continue making these and i have to thank every single one of you who do this! THANK YOU!!!
@@Blackimus bro 15 confirmed episodes, this is awesome! It has been a while since I saw a sfm tf2 animation that has a story as engaging as this, plus it even has stands! Take all your time bro I'm so exited for future episodes, fantastic work

Amazing what you can do in sfm...
Love the JoJo inspiration in this.
I like how everyone acknowledges the server commands and the notifications.
This series is the best tf2 animation I’ve seen yet, the “Jotaro” and “Dio” fight gave me the same excitement I felt as jotaro gave the last punch to Dio’s leg, this is amazing and I wish to see much more in the future |also the first was really good|.👌
Things I like about this episode is one: this heavy player has the leader role and is very thoughtful. Even though other heavies in some sfms are portrayed as dumb and bruteful. But I guess the player thing is a thing in this series as this player is well experienced and is very determined. This player is going up against a hacker of sort.
Bro how did i not find this a few days ago, this some great quality entertainment to watch while having a pizza with the boys! The jojo aesthetic in this is just astonishing! U deserve much more than what u currently have for so called "Subscribers"! Keep up the good work man! I'm definetely sticking around to see where this series takes us! And I'm glad the tf2 community is still showing its broded light from passionate people like you! Good luck my friend!
13:48 The heavy reaction with the music behind…
So much power in this scene
The fact the heavy lifts his hand for sandvich is comedy gold, also ik this is old, i just watch old things occasionally.
Six months ago I watched this sfm for the first time, and it just stunned me and inspired me to watch JoJo. Now I finally understand the meaning of memes and these impressive videos including your series. Thank you so much lad❤
this entire episode:
*IS THAT A JOJO REFRENCE!?!*
when spy went down into the deep abyss, i was hoping for satan to say "i'm a big fan" lmao
17:57 The moment you see the Spy realize what's going on is my favorite part because it's so well animated.
I only watched a little bit of JoJo, that watchtime being over my friend's shoulder in school, but this is pretty spot-on. Nice Strike!
17:10 "man literally too angry to die"
Fun fact, this happens quite often in part 4 of the anime BlackimusSFM based this off of XD
That's DOOM ETERNAL for you

Heavy Guy's [Crush]: Punchy boy
I enjoyed every second of this can’t wait for episode 3 if there is one.
I like how you named the parts of the, should i say, movie. Like seeing how you did the scenes. Also very good sfm, you are underated.
This deserves so much more likes it’s amazing
How the hell does this have so little views? Dude this is great.
This episode was another great one from a technical standpoint. I think the dialogue and timing are on point. But I will say this didn't feel like the same atmosphere as the last one. In my opinion the Jojo references took away more than they added; they felt a little like the video was trying to be something it wasn't, and differing from guidelines established by the first. I understand this is an opinion though, and you can't please everyone. Other people liked this episode for the same reasons I felt it wasn't quite as good as episode 1, so it's ultimately up to you how you want to proceed.
i am legitimately surprised someone said what i think would be impossible - EP1 is better than EP2. that being said, i respect your opinion because i'll admit it, i did go slightly overboard with the references but it was meant to be that way. not to worry, i am improving along the episodes, taking in mind the honest feedback from the people that gave it, like you.
love the honest and genuine critique! keep it up, i love constructive feedback like this!
@@Blackimus No problem! I'm thoroughly enjoying this series so far and I'm eagerly awaiting ep 4 (part 2)
I kinda think this works cause the series so far shows that TF2 is a video game in this universe, and there are different servers, this one was just slightly more silly and memey than the last
Really cool video. It has some nice concepts and a pretty good cast of characters. Unfortunately, the animation is a little bit wonky or stiff at times, but it has heart, and I commend you for getting an animation out that's this long.
so, heavy's reasoning for the medic being a spy is the lack of a medal. but for the life of me, i just can't seem to actually find a solid view of whatever medal the heavy's talking about. anyone got a timestamp for when this supposed medal was in view?
16:40 This part is so cool I love it
I honestly love part 2! The battle between Heavy and spy is the best! I love spy's look too, can't wait to watch the rest!
Also love how they leave the game by a open door!
The fact that whole fight took only 30 seconds is unbelievable
im not a jojo fan, but like, this is good shit, actual quality right here
I love how people said that the first ep was a crappy SFM and then saw this, that this is a remake of both Kakyoin's and Dio's fights, and how the server height limit hurts God Spy
I love how JoJo references are everywhere.
Hello, If you want to see a guy ramble about this sfm short in broken English you've come to the right place. First of all, I love the animation and the Jojo references. I don't know a lot about the technical side of making a sfm short but I have some questions for the world-building in this. 1. Are the characters, players, or not. Let me explain In the winglet short "Mind Games" the characters are supposed to be the mercs we see from in Meet the team . In the winglet short, they act as if the character would act as the characters would act if the situation was cannon, so they don't know that they are in the video game. the opposite of that is two things A short were it's supposed to represent how Players play the game Like the "Random Crits" by the winglet which is supposed to show how in-game works when random crits are enabled. next to it are the The Gmod shorts from stblackst Which just borrow your basic idea of the tf2 world and makes new characters with the models of the 9 playable classes. For example American boot isn't a soldier he just has the model of soldier and a few trait from him. In the middle of the spectrum Is most of Hoovy tubes stuff were they are in a follow the rules of the tf2 world if it was a video game but they don't know that there are in one. You seemed to put your self in a bad place because You use the world of tf2 the video game were people can respawn but you haven't shown the audience if the people in them are Players or people that just happen to have the names spy and heavy. You use the term sever and refrence real severs from the real world like lazy purple without telling us if the characters are bot, players, or bots who know they are in a video game and are conscious for example who are the vac team. Are they bots players or the in-game representation of vac like how joy from inside out is supposed to be the emotion. You need to explain how the world works and what are it rules. 2 Slow down on the Jojo references. first, explain how people get stands in the next episode we need to know. That's was All I had to say. You can reply to this comment by telling how the world works in the reply. ( P.S if you need a song name for soldiers stand I got three suggestion . 21st century schizoid man link is here ruclips.net/video/JLstJH23p7k/видео.html Forrgoton sons link here ruclips.net/video/RtiUoEbwD7Q/видео.html and the knife ruclips.net/video/v719eZmXRdE/видео.html . Thank you again for making us such wonderful shorts
*LONG REPLY INCOMING!*
Before i answer your questions, i just want to say that i understand if things seem overwhelming when it comes to story, setting and characters. this is a series after all, so the answers will slowly be revealed over time regarding things such as stand origins, how the world works and other story/lore based questions (those particular ones you mentioned will all be answered within the series).
*HOW THE WORLD WORKS:*
the series itself is self-aware that its a video game, but it takes itself as a bit of both if that makes sense: in future episodes, you will see that some characters have "jobs" within the tf2 universe such as a construction worker, a janitor, or in the VAC case - police / FBI / Government. However, the normal matches in the TF2 video game is basically another "job", where they compete, gain rewards and salary - like in real life. the world works by taking the tf2 video game's mechanics, game play, systems, servers, architecture and turns it into something with story and lore, including creations by other tf2 players such as TF2Freaks like Seeman, Vagineer and Painis Cupcake. basically, all the freaks are literally canon in this series because it was made within Team Fortress 2. HOWEVER, they will be "reincarnations" that fit within the series' story and lore (because having a super overpowered tf2 freak like Vagineer would not be, in my opinion, as fun to implement)
TL;DR - self-aware tf2 videogame-verse mixed with real-life criteria (jobs, currency), twisted in a way that it feels "familiar" within tf2. includes tf2 freaks because they are from tf2, but also changed/nerfed to fit within the universe.
*QUESTIONS:*
1. "are the characters players or not?" - the characters themselves are the players if that makes sense, no one is controlling them. they are their own identities. each character has its own identity within the servers' databases. for example: there can be millions of Pyros, they could all look the same if they wanted to, as long as they had the cosmetics by either trade or purchase. Stands are NOT different players unless the series itself tells you otherwise for that specific stand. if a character has a stand, that stand is a part of that same character, like in JoJo.
tl;dr - every single character is a self-aware "player". they know they are in a server and are aware of OUTSIDE things, such as the very game's economy system (ref, keys, buds...)
2. who are the VAC team? - as the name implies, its the server's "protection system" from malicious activities (in EP:01, you see a security squad - the lowest ranks within VAC, trying to "protect" the server from a "threat") they devote their lives within tf2's universe to keep everything under control and restore balance in case things get ugly. think of it as a government or the police. they will be explained further, EP:03 being one of the first episodes where they have a major role within the plot.
tl;dr - police / FBI / government - they are intentionally confidential but they will be appearing when its necessary.
i could explain it all here but that would take away the fun of watching the series, right?
i appreciate your comment!
take care.
Dude this needs more likes
Both of these comments are long, didn't read halfway, sorry
There is only one man of its kind, who is capable of protecting the Team Fortress Servers..some may say he is the personification of punishment, some say he is the spirit of justice....he is the strongest, independent of the situation. I saw him with my two eyes lad...he is the Heavy Guy.
Omg its like 2nd episode of 2nd season where Jotaro fights Kakyoin + last episodes of 3rd season where he killing Dio. Niiiice
Excellent job with incorporating other elements and utilizing the limited voice lines seamlessly, too! When Heavy Crush began destroying the Spy, I was dying of laughter lol
this whole episode was a well written, well animated anime reference.
THIS IS ONE OF MY MOST FAVORITE SFMS OF ALL TIME!! THE SKYBOX SCENE WAS GENIOUS TOO, EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT, OMGG!!
The Jotaro Heavy is amazingly well done!
I especially love the Star Platinum vs Hierophant Green reference
This is really well made :D I like the stands the characters have.

The twists and turns in this series are epic!! Great job with the use of suspense!

I love how you re-created the dio and jojo fight and started Crusaders

That was a good jojo episode, thank you!
And great content!
DAYUM! You did a bloody good job at this bruh
It's quite brilliant. Definitely a great series that I'm sure will gain much more traction no doubt.
I'm glad to have stumbled upon this series. It's really good to see SFM animators still going at it. Subscribed, and I can't wait to see more from you.
EP 02 Character Identification:
(Information based mostly if not entirely on the TF2 FreakShow Wiki)
0:21 Heavy Guy is undoubtedly and original Freak inspired by Jotaro Kujo
11:25 Most likely an original Freak inspired by Dio (I'm not well-versed in JJBA either so please correct me if I'm wrong), though observes similar characteristics to some existing Spy Freaks, so influence is possible.
Spy is 100% based of Dio and so is Heavy based of Jotaro Kujo.
I thought you were well known with 100k subs or more since the quality was so good
unfortunately, for now, that ain't the case here. RUclips's not exactly a fan of people who post from time to time since it will stop suggesting my videos to new people, hence why it's taking its sweet time for the channel to grow to reach out to a bigger audience. i appreciate the comment anyways!
@Murch and Dice woud love to see that cause i like hamon more then stands tbh

Fun fact, Heavy's name is Sasha, And he has a russian degree in literature (And psychology?) And refused to help the team in fending off the robots at first because he had to defend his family from what was left of the USSR, Heavy is literally a gigachad in the lore, Heavy is the true chad of the game
the stock miniguns name is Sasha, heavys name is mikhail or misha, rest is right tho
This is a fine piece of work, it needs more views
Now, since I don't watch Jojo, I won't understand the references much. But I do understand a little about the characters having stands.
With that a mind, I think this is great!
