Drop it in a hot pot of seasoning lemons and crawfish boil oil . Boil til fully cooked and turn off fire and allow to soak in seasoning for 20 minutes. Twist the head , suck the head and eat the tail meat ....enjoy!

Next, cut off its head and toss it the water. But don't toss it far. toss it about 2-3 feet. This attracts the crayfish. Next, gut the fish and put the fish's heart on the fishing pole. (The crayfish especially like the heart because it is full of blood). Next, check the fish head you threw in. There should be a few crayfish nibbling on it. Then, dangle the bait in front of the crayfish's face and it should be attracted by the blood leaking out of the heart. Let him grab it with his claws. Wait for him to bring it to his mouth. Then lift your pole out of the water very slowly, because if you go to fast, he will get scared, and let go. Have a container of cool water ready for your crayfish. Change the water every 20 minutes or so, so that the sun doesn't make the water too hot for it. When you get home, place it into a pot of boiling water with basil and garlic powder. Eat the tail and claws only. Have fun!
Any that are not slow movers or bottom dwellers as the crayfish can catch them easily. Dont put siamese fighters in as the flowing tails attract the crayfish and they try to catch them.
+Raymond 7162 Well yeah that's a pond they have theirs in a little bucket.... A pond has a bigger bioload capacity so you can stock more and regular crayfish tend to get really big. If you have it in a 50g+ you shouldn't have to do a water change everyday but you would need one at least once a week if you do not have a filter...

They dont need a surface. They are not amphibious. They live in the water all the time.
