Lord Jesus thank You for accepting us just as we are without one plea. You are the supplier of all our needs according to Your riches and glory. You are the God who daily carries all of our burdens, fears and worries. You put us back together when we are broken. You heal us from all of our infirmities. You renew are strength like the eagle's. Thank You for loving us and never leaving us or forsaking us. You lift us up when we are too weak to stand on our own two feet. You are a Friend who sticks closer than a brother. We would be lost without You Lord. Your outstretched arms are always around us. Everything that we need is found in You. In Jesus name. Amen.
I am currently going to a very tough season- i have come back positive with covid and it has taken a huge toll on my health. I am trying as much as i can to hang in there. Thank you all for any prayers and thank you ODB for this video.
@ Josiah You are healed by the blood of Jesus from the crown of your head to the soles of Your feet. Keep holding on to God he has you in his hands. No weapon formed against you shall prosper.
I can relate, being the mother of 2 boys' , now grown and with families of their own. They were raised in a Bible believing and teaching church and made professions of faith and were baptized . they lived it---the oldest went to a private Baptist University and the youngest went on the road doing sound that he had learned to do in church--he was very gifted. Now at 40 and 36 they are far from God. My heart is heavy, but I can't say anything. They were raised well and are now adults. They know how I feel, but I want to keep our relationships open. God will do the rest!!! I have had to let go of them on several times due to my health and divorce---God has always provided for their good. Yes, I have left my baggage at Jesus' feet. He will lead them. I will keep praying.
Betsy, we pray you continue to feel His love and faithfulness as you pray for your two sons. One of our authors has written a wonderful book called Prayers for Prodigals that we hope you can view. I feel your pain. We have 3 girls, raised in a Christian home, in church and Christian school. Now living secular lives. Will keep praying every day until they return or I die. Whichever comes first.
@Our Daily Bread - Thank you for this story time devotional. The story about Mrs Walsh’s son wanting to head North for an adventure was really adorable☺️ I need to listen to this message everyday bc although I’ve gotten better at bringing my baggage to Jesus, I still struggle with picking it back up and carrying it around again. I am constantly going back and forth. Sometimes, I imagine Jesus standing behind the baggage claim counter asking me, “Alana, are you here today to drop off your burdens or pick them up?”🤦🏻♀️ It’s exhausting! I just haven’t mastered the art of leaving my bag of burdens behind with Jesus…Hopefully I’ll learn before my worn out bags de-thread 🪡 from all the weight and bust open at the seams leaving a huge mess of my own junk to clean up😳
AMEN 🙏
