I have a Schuyler zippered PSC (KJV) that is absolutely great to travel with. Love it! So hoping that Schuyler makes a zippered LSB someday. And if it’s in the Saddle Brown like yours, that’d pretty much be my perfect travel Bible.

I have had three of these schuyler zippered bibles over the years. The zipper mechanism has come into contact with the page edges on all three of these, leaving scratches, dents, marks, etc. This is with careful usage. Just an FYI for those considering these with the idea the zipper system protects the page edges.

      Bummer! Thanks for that information.

Thank you. I had wanted to see this. I've forever wanted a Bible with a zipper to protect it. I was wondering how the font size would be. I gave a faux leather one that is 8 point and I can still read it. But it does have some show-through. If this is line matched and also darker (and I'm assuming better paper than my faux leather one) then it seems it would be very workable for me. Alas, I can't afford something like this. But it's nice to know it's out there.

Happy I found this video. I’m surprisingly interested in the zipper bible. would it be possible to have a super thin booklet WCF or pen inside the Bible?

@chaseadams8018 Yes, you can easily fit a pen inside... I'm not sure what booklet you are referring to?

Thanks for the review! I was wondering if you noticed any faded printing on any of the pages?

    • @joelfields9807

@souldier2425 Overall, the printing is very even. There are some places that appear darker, but there aren't any texts that seem faded. All the text is very readable.

Need help with the decision making process! Is there room in the zippered edition to store a small pen? This is a deciding factor on whether I get the standard or the zippered edition.

Great review. I am not a zipper fan. Zippers get in the way when I want to quickly access the scriptures. A generous yap is my choice for page protection. You can't use ribbons with zipper covers. Other than that, I am concerned with your use of the modern critical text, but we can talk about that via email. 2K Denmark controls the font. The darker options can be chosen by Schuyler, but 2K creates and controls the font. I love you brother. Please greet Melissa and the family for me.

@Pastor-Brettbyfaith Thanks PB, I hope you've been doing well. I've been praying for you. You can certainly email any information you have on the topic. However, it's a subject I wrestled through for some 10 years and have really laid it to rest. Blessings in Jesus, my friend!
