I commuted daily from South Oxfordshire to The City of London for 15 years. Worked in a really high pressure job with long hours. I also had to study at weekends for a Masters degree. No life. Trains rubbish. One day, when I was 32, I wrote down : I want to live on the beach, go to the gym everyday and have a great social life. By 37 , I emigrated. I live by a beach, go to the gym and have a great life. I retired at 54, have really efficient free healthcare and my costs are literally about £20 per week. I used to spend £600 for the UK trains to get to work, alone.

So many people need this message. My husband's best friend died from cancer this year aged 47. He was wealthy, but like bob Marley said, money can't buy you life.
We are working on this with my husband. We focused so much on wealth over the last 10 years and only work work work (not just jobs but also complete house renovation that we did oursleves, trying to get pregnant, infertility and health issues and now taking care of two still small children). Three years ago we started travelling and learning new things and focus more on how to enjoy life. We started skiing as a family. This Sunday my husband is taking an open canoe course. I started tennis lessons last year and golf. This year we are travelling almost every month, even if for one or two days to explore new places. Just came back from two weeks in South of France. My husband still has a tendency to save save save but I have to remind him that we also need to live and do things we love. So, we agreed that 10% of our monthly budget goes to travelling expenses. I know how much this is for the whole year and I plan and search to squeeze the most out of out allowance and go as many times as possible. I am good at finding cheap deals, tickets, hotels so this budget allows us for travelling almost every single break from school as well as occasional weekend.
I literally walked away from a financially lucrative job (most money I've ever earned) because it was soul destroying. Currently taking a break to prioritise my mental & physical health. Tomorrow isn't promised for anyone. Thank you for your message
My husband literally passed away before my eyes and in my arms. That's always my rude awakening. I can happily and Joyfully say that I am the Queen of contentment and "take life as it comes'. I couldn't be happier for the lessons learned and the person I'm becoming every passing day. Just one step at a time! 😊😊
Ken nice 1. This hits home. People know this but they don’t act on spending quality time with their loved ones. Poorer people the world over have more fun and live a fulfilling life.
I think we all live in the illusion that we have time. A colleague of mine died before retirement. She's been working since 2004, she never had a taste of her pension. One lady went to Nigeria a month before her retirement to celebrate Christmas, died of Heart attack within a day. That retired life was gone in a blink of an eye.
After years of feeling in limbo, living in a city I once aspired to live in but feeling drained by city life, I realised that it wasn't making me happy anymore. In fact I was starting to feel agoraphobic and not sleeping because of the constant noise. Today we get our keys to our first property. A little flat for less than 90k, nothing fancy, but it's a foot on the property ladder in a little commuter town. It's a short train journey from the city I love, it's got beautiful countryside surrounding it and a really nice beach a stones throw from my home. I've had to adjust my expectations and it's certainly not the absolute ideal but it's got more than enough going for it to be a happy little pit stop on the way to a dream home, which would still feel unobtainable if I continued to pay city rates.

I worked for 37 years, average 75+ hours a week. I was fine with that, loved my job until the last 2 years, hence i retired at 55. I only had money once finished my company. Money was never the driver. Now im comfortable, no debts, but trust me I'm enjoying myself. Im not going to work again, but i bought a boat which i love, i have 4 digs, those 2 hobbies are expensive. Now im 60, i look back and im happy with the way things went.
I saw this coming when I was 45yoa. My workmates were all looking forward to early retirements and were counting their pension pots. I had no pension savings anyhow, so I left everything, sold up and bought a bit of land to live very simply on. It's been hard to get to this point 21 years later. But I'm now self sufficient in woodfuel, have my own private water supply, am offgrid and self taught in natural building using materials from my land. Hard work for myself is far more rewarding than selling my time to another, as I can prioritise, shift gear and direction at will, and jump on the motorbike for inspiration when I need to.
"Hardwork for myself is far more rewarding than selling my time to another, as I can prioritise, shift gear and direction at will". I couldn't have said it better. Welldone for designing a life you want 👏🏾👏🏾
Thanks for such an amazing video. I used to admire my friends when they brag about working 2 or more jobs and doing various gigs but when I look deep I could see they are unhappy and depressed. They accumulate a lot and they don’t find time to enjoy what they have. I have since changed that mindset. I’m content with investing a portion of my income monthly, working not more than 8 hours a day, travelling to see the world and spending time with loved ones.
Well I’ve always thought of this… I lost my job & my challenge has been living on £360 pm atm. I’ve also only scrapped by. But because I’m fugal I’m just about surviving. I’m listening as I’m walking my dog, my bro died & my best friend both were well off & both v clever folks. But u born into this world naked & out we go the same not ever knowing when. Live in the moment & love with full gratitude. It’s all just stuff in the end it simply just stuff. Do we really need it? Life is precious.
Not yet! But working on it. God help me 🙏🏽 i was discussing this with my husband and my sister, slavery to a Job and a certain way of living has become the norm. But i say No! I am checking out!
This video has got me thinking, Ken. I've lost two of my best friends and my uncle in the last 2 years. I'm not enjoying my job as a medical consultant any longer. Life can be so short and I need to look for a new opportunity that I'm passionate about and thoroughly enjoy. I really enjoy your content, and I wanted to say God bless you and all the family. Take care
This is so true. I have seen people my age leave everything behind and transcend. I live to enjoy every day now. I may not earn much but I am at a stage of being content with what I have and be expectant for the future and also acknowledging and planning for the unforseen, including death. I'm not in competition with anyone. Most importantly, I value life and good health.
It’s like the work/life balance thing. If you’re later in life it’s easier to choose life over work, or is it if your retirement doesn’t look very good? It’s really hard to figure it out unless you’re financially sorted. I lost someone very dear and I care for someone I also love very dearly. Living my best life means I have to abandon the person I care for who actually brings me most of the joy in my life! A video about later life care planning would be very useful to many people I’m 100% certain.
People do not spend enough time with themselves learning who they are and what would really make them happy - instead, it seems easier to focus on making more money acquiring material things and doing as the Joneses do. It is not easy to be still with yourself but well worth doing so you can change direction before it is too late. Life is very short indeed!
I started a enjoying about 4-5 years ago instead of just accumulating and feeling restricted, stressed and uninspired. Additionally, *enjoying* WILL make you healthier and happier.
Thankyou humble penny!i dont earn alot 30k 50hr week and 52 this year ..on days off i stay in, i have savings and no debt not much pension and hating working all the time im not sure my passion is...i want to do more but feel stuck in a rut on a merrygo round i cant seem to get off...but this is an eye opener thankyou sorry for your loss xx
The order of importance should be health, looks, intelligence, time, and wealth. If one has all five, life can be grand. But for most of us slaves, we are lucky to have one or two of the five.
Very heavy topic, I only learnt it the hard way after just a simple planter fascitis hit me, I was loosing my balance when walking due to pain. In every second of my day I was in extra pain, started taking supplements and being strict with my nutrition, tumeric ginger helped a lot. Now I look at how I almost lost my sense of functioning and can see how life can change in a split second. Honestly life is borrowed, be happy and at peace is what I tell myself
I haven't worked since 2020 when Covid hit. I'm one of the 10 million in the UK not working and also not looking for work. My life is full of so much freedom and joy. I will never give up my freedom for any job because I'm so much happier now that I can do what I want when I want. They programme you to think you need a 9-5 job and a career to get by in life. There are so many ways of making money online nowadays that this isnt true anymore. You're absolutely right, life is too short to work yourself into depression and health issues. Enjoy your life today and you will achieve happiness.
This reminder us always needed. Struggling with lots of close losses too and it's making me reassess what is important and what I want to create next. ❤
Beautifully said Ken. We are not here to work, work, work 😢 Keep challenging us all to live and love our finite lives. It all goes far too quickly. Have a fabulous holiday 🌺🌞
Damn amazing video, i stopped working an year ago, i have been rescuing animals however i now desperately need money but i CAN NO longer be a slave to the system, life is literally about enjoying every moment and being a slave is not the thing, i.e we need to work for ourselves and have the freedom to live and enjoy!! Very good video 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
This was a very meaningful and touching video which will force many of us to question what we're actually seeking in life. My condolences for your loss and keep up the great content.
Had this conversation with a close friend earlier today…..I am intentionally striving to live for the PRESENT. It’s all I truly have. Great reflection Ken🔥
Hi Ken, thanks for mentioning our school mate that passed away. It was shocking to me too after he was found dead in his car. I’ve been trying to enjoy life now, after I heard about it 2 months ago.
It is all about a balance ! Need to be well balance in everything we do the secrete of happiness and taking about balance make sure you credit card is always at zero balance 👊😊
Work/Life balance is so important. Health is the biggest asset to me. Taking financial positive steps in the right direction also reduces stress. Plan, Measure and monitor yourself every quarter and have fun doing it.
Ken I am deeply sorry for your bereavement and I hope you cope better with time. My life we live is about hitting a healthy balance between enjoying life and investing in the future, my value for creating memories have appreciated with age rather than investing, nothing is guaranteed so if we can indulge in both then it’s a win win.
Preach it Ken!!! I've sadly seen the scenarios you describe several times - close relatives, colleagues and friends who worked and worked but never lived to see retirement or even middle age. I personally learnt the hard way. I worked crazy hours (90+ hrs a week) for several years only to end up on long-term sick leave last year. I'm back at work now, and I'm fortunately able to afford to work part-time, which allows me to prioritise my health as well as the activities and relationships that truly nourish me. In my view, frugal living buys so much more than any financial model can quantify!
What a comment! Thank you for sharing your lived experiences. I hope more people read it and it further helps them take stock of their lives sooner rather than later.
Great reminder of such an important message. It also reminded me of a great book I read which goes into this deeply - 'Die With Zero' by Bill Perkins, which really hit a nerve with me too. Thanks,
I’m enjoying my life and realise there’s a lot of negativity around me from people’s attitudes. I always try to uplift others as believe we should take accountability for our lives and adore be around people in a day to day basis when their at their best (most cases we have a lot of things to be happy for). The difficulty I have is navigating two faced people and that it infuriates me when I’ve given someone the benefit of the doubt
That negativity comes from a lot of people having a scarcity mindset. One way I try to get around this is to keep a lot of my enjoyment to myself as people are not always happy to see you having fun, which I think is quite sad but hey... It's a cultural thing.
Hear hear! I have been listening to financial joy on audible. I realised I was stuck in the cycle of buying stuff I don't need, your chanel has shifted my mindset. I am actually doing a massive declutter of stuff this weekend. Thank you Mary and Ken
Yes to declutter 👏🏾👏🏾 and AMAZING to see Financial Joy book spreading ❤️. Please take a moment to leave us a review on Audible. Kindly tell others what you love.
This is a great topic Ken I was recently made redundant but because I have savings I am just taking time off to enjoy life before finding something new. It’s been a great couple weeks so far going out doing things I want and reflecting on areas of my life that we’re getting neglected. Our time on this planet is short. Also I like these car videos it reminds me of the ones you used to do 😊
I'm really sorry to hear about your redundancy! Trust me, you'll be thankful for it one day. I suffered redundancy too in the past and I can tell you that it elevated me and helped me crystallise better what I truly want in my life. Enjoy yourself! Thanks too for feedback about the video format. I'll make more like it :)
Thank you for your admonition. It's important to hear this truth now and then. Society has put us in this race of wanting, getting, "needing" items/stuff (burdens) continuously. I hear you and I have been trying to live my life, I have lovely children, I don't have to work a full time job but my health needs improving .... Whilst i don't work I don't have much to enjoy myself but now I am on a mission to start my own business and need to save every penny so I can make the business come true, then with profit enter into other business which can be managed more remotely and more in a automated form so I can achieve financial freedom, mobility... People get stuck in the first stage and sometimes it's down to choices what you can achieve and cannot.... What sacrifices is one willing to make to achieve that freedom
When working full time, weekend seems like a rush to get other things done, I find we might not actually enjoy the weekend cause we’re anticipating Monday, it’s like a perpetual cycle, some of the things we might be doing might be actually enjoyable but it doesn’t feel like it when you’ve constantly thinking got get this done cause Monday is back to work.
Yes I agree - I’m 53 and since paying off my mortgage I’ve started to spend on things I love which for me is travel - I’m going to go on at least one nice holiday a year. Previously it was every 2-3 years.
I'm 26, I don't enjoy life and hate my current job. Still live with my parents in London and it feels like being chained as renting is very expensive at the moment. Currently have plans to work within IT in the future hopefully.
Things will change for the better for you. Count your blessings (eg. Living at home) and whatever you do, avoid subscribing to the mindset of accumulating things. The simpler you live, the freer you'll become. This will matter over time as you're 26. Good things are ahead 👍🏾
You have your whole life ahead of you. I am twice your age and have done loads of things in the IT space. Enjoy your home environment and save up. Enjoy life.
that is really good advice!always try to enjoy your life while you are still alive.my friend sadly passed away, aged a hundred and two.we took his body down to the playboy mansion to have a really good time, they said that there was nothing that they could do for him and his body really belonged in a graveyard!he was absolutely furious!he'd been saving up,to go to the playboy mansion since he was three years old.we took him to an ancient castle, the local library and a mausoleum ,he couldn't stop crying.he cried all the way home!i tried my best to console him.i told him to just imagine that he had been born as an english peasant in the fourteenth century!never ever wait until you are dead and gone to start going to parties and having a good time!look what happened to jean valjean!
True talk bro, i have seen this happen in my very eyes when I lost my dad, they very things he worked hard for he wasn't alive to enjoy it, so i am enjoying my life as i go along, im not waiting until retirement to enjoy my life. I am currently on a long weekend holiday with my family to chill and enjoy life.
I had this conversation with my wife, she seems to be going too extreme, like an addiction just wants to save everything and getting depressed when money is spent. I.e on something she might’ve needed. So my solution was to change the thinking, let’s say you can save £1k a month, that’s £12k a year.. now if can save £12k a year, you can spend £2k on yourself in one go, an epic holiday, a shopping spree and see it as you deserve it, this way you don’t panic spending £50 a month and worrying “I shouldn’t have spend that”. You won’t burn out either. So now she has opened a new bank account and doing a standing order of £150 a month, lock it away, that’s yours to spend April 1st on whatever you want with no guilty
It's a tricky balance. On one hand is trying to get out of a cycle of bills and obligations and be financially independent in a reasonable amount of time. On the other hand is enjoying life and moment with the resources we have. Those two are often the opportunity forgone of the other. In my opinion, enjoyment doesn't have to be materialistic. Things like having a great laugh with the wife and kids. Playing board games, schedule in movies on Netflix etc being in a joyfyl, happy, jovial and appreciative mental state can often surpass buy things or experiences. I try meditating to create joy and happiness from inside and be deeply appreciate the privilege and freedoms I have, knowing its possible to be in a much worse situation.
@@tj6544 I just think anything “over” is harmful.. personally, the temptations of the world will drive you to material needs but I don’t think it is wrong. It’s about control, not cutting things out cold turkey and also changing the acquisition method.. that’s why I meant, rather than spend £100 every month, save it and spend £1000 in 10 months. I do that with my diet and it works. I’m very low carb but I take 2-3 days a month where I eat anything. To me it is better than going “I’ll just have one slice of pizza today”, instead have a pizza night and get that craving out and done. I guess everyone has their ways but I don’t think one extreme over the other is the way
Totally agree I've always argued with people life is for experience not just money, can't take it with you as people say. I have friends who constantly ask me why I don't buy a bigger house or nicer car when my wage has jumped over 110% in a 3 years. I'm always telling them that I want the extra money to enjoy not to just save or spend on a bigger house or car I don't even need, I want to spend the money on enjoy things with my kids and what I enjoy....not impressing others with some lifestyle that not really real or needed.
Thank you for your VLOG you are absolutely correct life is short and we need to live every second of it in a balanced way. My living experience is that I am having to work hard or I cannot meet my basic needs such as food, water, bills, clothes, rent and so forth. Everything is expensive and prices continue to go up as well here in the UK that it is really difficult to reduce hours etc for a better life. I have very little saved up as well and have no emergency fund so this is how I am living today. Will things get better in the future I hope so but one of the aspect I absolutely admire is my family and friends that's what life is about seeing them grow and be happy.
I totally feel you about the struggles of meeting your essential needs. It is difficult. But the encouraging thing is that you can still enjoy your life in ways that don't involve money or you can enjoy life with little money. The key thing is to make enjoying your life a priority intentionally.
Thank you so much Ken, this is a deep reflection indeed. Honestly we have to appreciate there is one life and no return match. Be intentional everyday to enjoy our lives
Brilliant video , we can become so obsessed with savings , investments and the future we forget to live in the moment , I am Woking on mentally breaking away from this sick thought process . Have a lovely holiday 🙏🏽
This video is very insightful and thought provoking. After my recent hospital stay, I started seeing things differently. I collapsed in my flat and was found by my son. Spent 25 days in ITU and was moved to 2 other hospitals. I'm glad to be alive. Praise God for his mercies.
Praise the doctors that took care of you... They are the ones who deserve the praise going through years of medical schooling to help alleviate suffering in this world. Not any imaginary man hiding in the sky
Praise God, Sylvia. Wow, so good to know your son found you in time. I suffered a collapse myself and Mary found me. That was a point of no return event. From then, life had to be different. Shout out to the hospitals and staff for looking after you. Take care of yourself.
@@TheHumblePennyI'm thankful to be alive. My son found me in the nick of time. The medics who saw me throughout my stay in hospital were absolutely brilliant! Sorry to hear you suffered sth similar. Glad your wife got to you in good time. I have learnt a lot from you and your wife since I subscribed to ur channel. Keep inspiring with your wealth of knowledge.
Thank you Ken for sharing such a personal reflective video. Yes, I can relate to what you said. I have been tapering back the lifestyle rat race for a few years now including chasing a promotion at work. It has healed my mind, body and soul, I feel liberated and contented I see others with more material wealth than me yet so unhappy. Whilst I still strive towards financial freedom, thanks to the purchase of your book and other coaching methods I truly understand everything is a question of balance making the right decisions so worth it. 🙏🏾 Have a great holiday!
I'm actually exiting the organization I worked for 11 years. I was suffering from the exact the same issue of accumulating money to the extent that my marriage was being strained. Ultimately having to choose between the job & my marriage. I'm fully convinced the decision I made is the best and I thank God the courage.
Hmm food for thought. My wife keeps telling me about making the most now and enjoying life but the challenge is finding that balance. Personally I feel I have 2 more yrs off grinding and then easing off after.
Your wife is onto something. Yes, work hard over those 2 years. But make space for fun. You just need to make time for it and carve out elements of your budget for it. If you've bought a copy of our book (Financial Joy), see week 5 for how we recommend doing this by creating a Joyful Spending Plan 😀
Thanks Ken. So true. I'm at a good place financially but enjoy my job so I keep on working. A lot of people might be in the same boat. However, I'm considering retiring in the next year or so to enjoy my life and the fruits of my labour. Thank you so much for this vlog.❤
Wow Ken these wisdom nuggets are everything 🙌. My Latino fiance happens to have this mindset of enjoying life while still working hard towards the future ,I have learned a lot from him.
I am really happy that with all you have accomplished you are able to enjoy yourself and spend time doing things like talking holidays. I’m am starting to make an effort to do the same.
I hope to make some changes, some even radical to reduce my overheads. Can be done but with a lot of discipline and not comparing yourself to others. We’re trying to get our mortgage freedom in Greater London as I’m struggling to move further out of London, ultimately want a happier and healthier life for my family
Yes that is correct however it takes a level of awareness and self knowledge and self mastery to detach from the societal programing to live an authentic life aligned with your true self .As people like to fit in with the crowd at the moment.
Did this video speak to you? comment below with your reflection :). Kindly share this video with others who need it.

Julie, I'm so sorry 😞. Wow, that's a lot that you're dealing with. Look after yourself in this season. "Love with full gratitude". Love that!
❤❤❤
Take care
❤ hope you find your new path soon
Very well said!
I started a enjoying about 4-5 years ago instead of just accumulating and feeling restricted, stressed and uninspired. Additionally, *enjoying* WILL make you healthier and happier.
Enjoying life as early retired:).
An excellent video. This is so important.
Thank you for sharing it.
Time is the most valuable asset we own.
💯💯
Amen 🙏🏾
Unfortunately we only really appreciate that when its running out.
The order of importance should be health, looks, intelligence, time, and wealth. If one has all five, life can be grand. But for most of us slaves, we are lucky to have one or two of the five.
I appreciate this video. As with everything in life there are no coincidences. These are the words I needed to hear. Thank you.
This is so important! And I so sorry for all the losses you mentioned.
Balance and mobility everything - I have lupus and Hughes’s syndrome - wish I could walk like I used to🦋
Well said 🙏🏾
planter fascitis is NOT simple! The pain is crazy!
Gratitude ❤🎉
Thank you 🙏🏾
Had this conversation with a close friend earlier today…..I am intentionally striving to live for the PRESENT. It’s all I truly have. Great reflection Ken🔥
Thank you 😊
Sharing with my husband, he needs to hear this. Thank you
Brilliant message, Ken. God bless you 🙏
God bless 🙏🏾
Hi Ken, thanks for mentioning our school mate that passed away. It was shocking to me too after he was found dead in his car. I’ve been trying to enjoy life now, after I heard about it 2 months ago.
Floreat bro 🫶🏾
That is why I have a budget. I will always have money for fun stuff.
You're doing it right ✅️
Common knowledge is always key!
I keep reminding myself the calender is tearing down the years everyday the time the month the year what are you doing with your life on planet earth
Solid plan and suggestion 👍🏾
Ken I am deeply sorry for your bereavement and I hope you cope better with time.
My life we live is about hitting a healthy balance between enjoying life and investing in the future, my value for creating memories have appreciated with age rather than investing, nothing is guaranteed so if we can indulge in both then it’s a win win.
Thanks so much 🙏🏾. This is exactly the mindset
Sorry for the loss of your family member brother ❤
Great reminder of such an important message. It also reminded me of a great book I read which goes into this deeply - 'Die With Zero' by Bill Perkins, which really hit a nerve with me too. Thanks,
I need to read that. Thanks for sharing
My daughter and me traveled to Switzerland and we are doing an extensive trip there again next summer 😆🇬🇧🇺🇸
Switzerland is on my list! Lovely to hear about your travel adventures. That's special.
Hands down...the BEST video u ever did!!!!
Wow! Good thing I posted this video. I never know what will resonate with people.
Good video. Good to hear it as a reminder!! Ultimately HEALTH is WEALTH.
It sure is
I must say, THIS is the most important message I have heard on this YT space. Thank you !!
You are so welcome! Get this message out to as many people as you can. It's that important.
This blessed my soul...... Goodness 🙏🏾
🙏🏾🙏🏾
💯% agree has saying go you can not take it with you.
But make sure if anything happens you are covered so your loved ones are not stress out.
So true ❤
@@TheHumblePenny thank you Ken
Would love for more of your career/earnings videos to come back!
What careers would you like us to explore?
When working full time, weekend seems like a rush to get other things done, I find we might not actually enjoy the weekend cause we’re anticipating Monday, it’s like a perpetual cycle, some of the things we might be doing might be actually enjoyable but it doesn’t feel like it when you’ve constantly thinking got get this done cause Monday is back to work.
This is true!
Yes I agree - I’m 53 and since paying off my mortgage I’ve started to spend on things I love which for me is travel - I’m going to go on at least one nice holiday a year. Previously it was every 2-3 years.
Love that! Do it! And congrats on mortgage freedom 👏🏾 🙌🏾
Enjoy life.
Amazing talk uncle Ken
that is really good advice!always try to enjoy your life while you are still alive.my friend sadly passed away, aged a hundred and two.we took his body down to the playboy mansion to have a really good time, they said that there was nothing that they could do for him and his body really belonged in a graveyard!he was absolutely furious!he'd been saving up,to go to the playboy mansion since he was three years old.we took him to an ancient castle, the local library and a mausoleum ,he couldn't stop crying.he cried all the way home!i tried my best to console him.i told him to just imagine that he had been born as an english peasant in the fourteenth century!never ever wait until you are dead and gone to start going to parties and having a good time!look what happened to jean valjean!
Very important message 👍
Do we own the “stuff” or does the “stuff” we accumulate own us?
For most, the latter.
Great video. Developing an attitude of gratitude caused me to love my life 😊
Sorry for your loss. And thank you for the video, a message I could do with taking on board
Much appreciated 🙏🏾
I guess everyone has their ways but I don’t think one extreme over the other is the way
Spot on!
Great share. I love that you and your wife have come to a good agreement. This shows a healthy relationship with money.
I have a line item in my budget for fun 😂
Thank you Ken. So funny I was saying the same thing to my husband.
So sorry to hear about your brother in law.
Thanks so much
best video u have done, bar none.....
To think I almost didn't post this video 😅. Thank you
Totally agree I've always argued with people life is for experience not just money, can't take it with you as people say.
Great Video! Thank you so much for sharing
💯
Beautiful video thank you. So sincere.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for talking to me,this message is for me,may God bless you and family, remain bless 🙌 🙏🏻
Brilliant video , we can become so obsessed with savings , investments and the future we forget to live in the moment , I am Woking on mentally breaking away from this sick thought process . Have a lovely holiday 🙏🏽
Thank you for this brother ❤. Really needed to hear this.
Great vid
Thank you for this reminder.
You're welcome 😊
Yep, only the truth and it is sad that a lot of us are living like that x
Absolutely correct.
Thanks for watching :)
Makes me seriously think now, thanks for the video
You're welcome. Do share this with others
I'm actually exiting the organization I worked for 11 years. I was suffering from the exact the same issue of accumulating money to the extent that my marriage was being strained. Ultimately having to choose between the job & my marriage. I'm fully convinced the decision I made is the best and I thank God the courage.
You’re a bright star, thank you for this ❤️
Thank you so much 🙏🏾
Hmm food for thought.
@@TheHumblePenny I'll get a copy and read.
Thanks Ken. So true. I'm at a good place financially but enjoy my job so I keep on working. A lot of people might be in the same boat.
However, I'm considering retiring in the next year or so to enjoy my life and the fruits of my labour. Thank you so much for this vlog.❤
Thank u Ken needed this
You're welcome 😊
Wow Ken these wisdom nuggets are everything 🙌.
My Latino fiance happens to have this mindset of enjoying life while still working hard towards the future ,I have learned a lot from him.
Cherish him!
Powerful message thank you
I am really happy that with all you have accomplished you are able to enjoy yourself and spend time doing things like talking holidays. I’m am starting to make an effort to do the same.
Well said Ken!!!!
I hope to make some changes, some even radical to reduce my overheads. Can be done but with a lot of discipline and not comparing yourself to others. We’re trying to get our mortgage freedom in Greater London as I’m struggling to move further out of London, ultimately want a happier and healthier life for my family
Such a worthy goal! You're spot on, discipline and not comparing is key. Keep going 💪🏾
Yes that is correct however it takes a level of awareness and self knowledge and self mastery to detach from the societal programing to live an authentic life aligned with your true self .As people like to fit in with the crowd at the moment.
THIS!! 🎯🎯
