The DOJ can still salvage this case. Granted, they don't investigate a local crime like murder, but they can charge individuals with false statements and any crime involving interstate communications, such as wire fraud. Not to mention deprivation of civil rights. It's not too late.

Not all of them. Every medical expert they called told them John was not hit by a car. Every witness leaving the Alberts that night said there was no body on a lawn. Every one of them. I very much agree, but I also sympathize with where his family is coming from. They genuinely believe she is guilty, thanks to the Alberts and McCabes, and they decided to put their trust in the investigators who are supposed to be the good guys. They have been HEAVILY manipulated and targeted by the people in that house since day one, guiding them to think a certain way while they were in an extremely vulnerable position. They are also victims in all of this, and didn’t ask to go through something so monumentally traumatic. I give John’s loved ones grace. So for them, however misguided they may be, those cheers only signified the fact that John will never receive justice. If you just place yourself in their shoes for a moment, it is more than understandable why those cheers would be extremely difficult to hear in the moment that you are grieving the loss of your loved one all over again, and are extremely emotional over the verdict that you perceived to be the worst case scenario. I pray with time they will make sense of things, but it is still so fresh and they are still under so much manipulation by the people responsible. My heart goes out to his family, I can’t even imagine the losses they’ve been through. However, locking up an innocent person won’t heal their pain.
I very much agree, but I also sympathize with where his family is coming from. They genuinely believe she is guilty, thanks to the Alberts and McCabes, and they decided to put their trust in the investigators who are supposed to be the good guys. They have been HEAVILY manipulated and targeted by the people in that house since day one, guiding them to think a certain way while they were in an extremely vulnerable position. They are also victims in all of this, and didn’t ask to go through something so monumentally traumatic. I give John’s loved ones grace.
So for them, however misguided they may be, those cheers only signified the fact that John will never receive justice. If you just place yourself in their shoes for a moment, it is more than understandable why those cheers would be extremely difficult to hear in the moment that you are grieving the loss of your loved one all over again, and are extremely emotional over the verdict that you perceived to be the worst case scenario.
I pray with time they will make sense of things, but it is still so fresh and they are still under so much manipulation by the people responsible. There are plenty of people I judge very harshly in this case, but John’s loved ones are not one of them.
