Jared Cassidy If you read the original Yu-Gi-Oh manga, it is extremely dark. Kaiba hires someone that tore ten children to shreds to try and kill Yugi. The Shadow Games are dark as hell. The punishments even more so. A kid literally gets his soul eaten by dragons.
Sir Apple Oh trust me I’ve also read a little bit of the original manga and seen some videos about it and I can also agree that the manga is also dark and a whole lot different than the anime

Yu-Gi-oh isnt for everyone but i would say its something you should give a try, i picked it up when i was in my late teens so i jumped on a bit late but i still liked it a lot.

I can 1000000% assure that none of us who have watched Haikyuu are super into sports anime. Haikyuu is just so hype it's just an awesome shonen anime, sports or otherwise.
I would have to recommend Yu-Gi-Oh but start from the beginning because every different type will have different characters but the very first one will give you the best experience.
Even if your not into sports you should still watch Haikyuu!! (connor quests anime) I'm not into sports at all but it is now one of my favorite anime.
