Shaper Limit Switches

In this video I make and install some limit switches on my shaper to prevent it from crashing when I don't pay attention to it. I also try out a new tool from Shrum Solutions and use my die filer for the first time in ages.

Nice addition. I do have two things though - I think an additional improvement would be to replace the on/off switch with a motor starter relay and a couple push buttons. That way, when the limit switch is hit, it shuts off the motor and can't be started again until you push the start button. Second, I can't believe you didn't use the shaper to square up that stock. 😉😂Shameful. LOL! Well done. I will think about adding something like this to my Logan.

Nice modification/upgrade, many times I tell my set my Apple Watch timer to remind me as it is easy to get distracted/forget….just got a 7” shaper so this idea may get copied…
