- While my dad was recording in The Caribbean years ago, Dave Douglas, a DJ on St. Maarten, gave him the tape of his interview with these two reggae superstars. It was transferred to a digital format, and he gave several CD's away to various interested people over the past twenty five years.
An edited segment of it has been on RUclips for some time, but this is the first posting of the complete interview.

Thank you for releasing this Gem of an interview Robin Banx, it gives us even more insight of this great man. Who sacrificed his life to tell the truth. If there were more like men like Bob, Peter Tosh and their Brethren as well as Malcom, Martin, Hendrix, the Panthers, Megar, Mandela and all the Black freedom fighters of their time who were cut down our youths would not be so lost like they are today. Totally being controlled by the Music Industry. They were cut down to create what we see now.

I heard this interview when it first played on PJD2 i was 10, met dave Douglas for the first time 33 years later liming in sandy ground Anguilla, i was like I know you, you interviewed Bob Marley, as a youth, i followed every thing Bob uttered everything, i was a die hard lil rasta.

I saw Bob marley and the wailers played at the Palace Park june7th 1980 with my brother phill and his mate Ian very good gig and a great day out. The lineup was bob marley and the wailers. The average white band.joe Jackson band and the q tips with Paul Young. Tickets were £7.50. Nice one one love

The question was: "The chicks, I hear you're hot around the daughters?". To make it simple, this question to Bob meant "I hear you're popular with women". As everyone knows Bob like women and women liked him.
And Bob replied "well as you know... sisters.... f*ck man what should I do!?" and then you hear them all laughing. His response was not denying that he has a lot of women and he said "what should I do" as if he can't help it, it is the way it is, he has no choice etc.

Robin Banx My pleasure. They were on their home from Brazil. Soon after they arrived in Jamaica, Cacob Miller (Inner Circle) died in a car crash. So this is probably his very last interview. It is also just six months before Bob fell ill.
@@ArildKnutsenThere's also video from this and few pictures in St. Maarten. They're been interviewed by a very old building at the airport. Also a sad fact it was really Jacob Miller's final interview. He died in a caraccident in Jamaica.
