Watching this in 2021 after the Framing Britney Spears documentary makes this song even more emotional than it already was. She must have been filled with so much love and hope at that turning point in her life. This song is pure, genuine Britney. She had time frames to record albums promote those album's, other appearances, tours. She couldn't slow down.If they slow down it cost studios money, if they slow down people could forget about you. Record companies are the same way, by the time they finish one tour it's on to the studio to start the next album. Sadly that's why several in the industry turn to drugs and alcohol, or have to take breaks for exhaustion. Elvis Presley several others who had managers run their lives they weren't running them. Britney sadly didn't have the right people around her to lead her into a different direction like some celebrities have. She was just another dollar sign for people and that's what took the the toll on her.

You want to know why I love Britney Spears? She is such a beautiful woman inside out! She is a good mom with a golden heart. She has such a simple song that can make me cry or smile. She sings like an angel in this song and it is my favorite of all her lullabies. She wrote it herself to empower the women! She is strong and such an inspiration! A great artist and I love her so much! Britney Spears saved my life. This song gives me hope and faith. It is so beautiful and true. She is the only singer that can play like that with my emotions since I am a very little child! I always listened to her music every single day of my existence. She is kind of a mother figure to me and don't see her the way that the others see her. She is like the friend that will always be there for me and never betray me! She makes me Stronger and she learned more than anyone in my life how to be confident and proud of myself! My dream is to finally see one of her concerts and meet her. Its a need at some point. I want to thank her for everything that she helped me with and tell her that I love her and want her happiness. I know this is about her baby but this song is so, so personal to me because of the way I perceive it and relate to it. "Someday I will understand in God's whole plan, and what he's done to me." For me it's about going through the tragedies and horrible things I went through, and hoping that one day, I could understand why it happened and what God wanted me to learn from it.

A beautiful heart-felt song that is not widely known or heard, mainly because it’s not the pop princess singer and dancer we know and love, it’s more authentically her. The song and video are all the more poignant with the upcoming release of her memoir “the Woman in Me” next week (I see most of the comments here are from several months ago), in which she is no longer inspired to make new music. There is one bombshell after another, particularly about her relationship with JT, but this to me, “Someday”, reveals her true gifts go much deeper. And they are considerable. I’d love and treasure an album of songs like this one. Maybe “ Someday”?
