Sophia is very excited; she wanted to see Hamilton when Lin Manuel Miranda was staring in the show. I looked at the tickets and we can't even afford the back up, back up cast. I am grateful that Sara has made sure the tickets to her show are affordable to most people. Broadway should be accessible to everyone, not just the wealthy.
Pamela West I know this comment is 4 months old, but the pricing for the tickets isn't up to Sarah and it's not up to Lin. He's the type of person who would have the show be free so everyone could see it. But Broadway is a business. The more expensive the show is to produce+popularity=higher ticket prices. Lin held so many lottery opportunities to help people get cheap tickets.
I love that her fans love her so much... here and everywhere she goes.. I'm happy to be a fan of such a talented and good human being. Just ordered her book. She has a lot of creative years ahead of her.
I love Sara because she's so real and genuine. The only other artist I can think of that can hold an audience like that is Harry Chapin from his live album "Greatest Stories Live".

If this will be adapted to a movie musical, Down At The Diner surely is a better opening song. It's more movie musical-y, if there's such thing. I mean, Opening Up is amazing, but it's kinda obvious and predictable (like, of course the musical is about a pie shop, they'll sing a number about opening).
Also if anyone could come through with some guitar chords and lyrics for Down at the Diner I’d be forever grateful! Don’t really have the time to figure it out myself at the moment 🤷🏼♀️
