I'm Dantavius. Phoenix Jones was a Real Life Super Hero Who Faught Crime in Seattle in the 2010's. Honestly dude is cool as hell, I kind of made fun of him in my video but I respect the guy, I mean he's still kind of insane but cool nonetheless.

Here's the punchline: you can't take a windshield out even with a crowbar. They are heavily laminated to keep the passengers from potentially being thrown through them. Furthermore, even if it WAS one of the other 5 windows that DO shatter, they shatter into those little half cm cubes of safety glass....safety glass would be very very difficult to even *intentionally* break skin with, let alone necessitate an emergency room visit. Safety glass is about as sharp as a zipper.

Then he said weeks later he saw his friend getting beaten up at a bar and he still had the ski mask the car theif used so he put it on to chase his friend's attackers till the cops came. Why would someone just carry around a dirty ski mask that belonged to a theif? I met Phoenix Jones 2-3 times. He was a local celebrity before his divorce. After his 15 minutes of fame, I forgot about him until I stumbled upon a pic I got with him. Then I looked him up and saw he got arrested for dealing and was shocked. What a crazy time period that was

Impossible. People have bills to pay and the system is stacked against them. The police would be against you and so would criminals. Think about it. In cities like detroit a guy like this wouldn't last a day and would probably get jumped by a mob of a hundred people. Going after petty thieves is one thing but in order to be an actual super hero you would need an ultra high budget with the backing of the police. One guy in a suit is still just one guy despite all the bells and whistles in the costume. He had a good run but it was bound to get to his head at some point. He is lucky he didn't run into any real criminals that don't care about anyones safety. One guy could flatten this guy with something as simple as a car. Humans have to play it smart a costume is like having one big sign saying "Look at me!" The real crooks are not seen and you wont see them coming. You will just wake up in a hospital wondering where your wallet is.

Here was one trying to be it. But as usual, the cops go against him because they don't want to do their job, and he's making them look bad. So instead of backing him up, they take advantage of some made up charges by drunk people, that might have been a set up. They arrest him to make him out to be the villain, and ruin his whole life. The the majority of the sheep always believe the crooked media, because they are such cowards, that they can't possibly believe that anyone in their right mind would do a good thing, unless they were getting something out of it. So then everyone turns against him, just like the politicians, cops and media knew they would, because they don't want to actually work against crime themselves. Because they might be making money off this crime too, why would they stop it.

If you've been to an anime convention or have done some MMA, you've probably encountered some extreme personalities. Imagine combining both of those traits.

He found one of our banks unlocked at night along with other buildings that should have been locked at the time, and he helped chase a few bad guys on foot with cops during the fair once.
His name was captain Jackson.
He retired just a couple years back and some blame our towns recent downfall on his absence.

I town has a local hero too, started 3 years ago when he said he woke up at the hospital. He had no memories of his past life, also had no family members. He started living at a group home on the north side where he searched for a job. One day while he was at the store buying woods to burn with the homeless, a robber came to the store trying to rob it. While the robber walk in he completely walked past him at the door without seeing bob. When bob realized the robber didn’t see him. Bob turned around and grabbed an umbrella, then hit the robber with it on the Hand n his gun fell. The robber ran then bob tackle him and sat on him till the cops got there. They ended up arresting both of them because it turned out bob was a escaped mental patient who was placed in the wrong hospital room. After setting the hospital on fire. The Northside will forever remember The Northside Psycho Bob for his heroism and the woods he smked with us.

As someone who lived in Seattle the SPD are one of the most careless and dangerously incompetent police forces. Pheonix wasn't perfect but he definitely cares more than anyone in the SPD.
I don't think the SD are that bad, but there aren't enough of them. It's a seriously under staffed department and if there's a serious crime happening or a big event going on, you can forget about them responding to your problem. : (

My good friend grew up just a few houses down from him and went to the same school. He said throughout the 9 or 10 years he did, that he’s never met a more delusional person in his life. He said this guy took delusional extremism to a whole new level and whatever he was into at the time, he would completely play that role. He also mentioned the dude probably had a shitty home life he was trying to escape from by living out whatever fantasy he was into that week. Most notably he supposedly had a goth phase that he really went overboard with right before he started watching UFC. Which of course we know how the rest of the story goes… Had I not known exactly where this dude grew up I wouldn’t have believed him because the story was so freaking crazy. But honestly the more I learn, the more I realize he wasn’t just bullshitting me at all. Most everything he told me at the time has completely been verified. It’s absolutely insane 😂

I remember watching that documentary about him and the other superhero wannabes years ago. I'm surprised none of them got killed as far as I know. There's a damn good reason Batman doesn't exist irl and a lot the stuff that happened with him backs that up. Also, a trained fighter is legally considered a lethal weapon and they can get in a lot of trouble beating up regular folks

I'm a seattleite, and honestly it's not too bad. The opioid epidemic hit us pretty hard and our police department does definitely have an institutionalized racism problem and allocates their funding poorly, but we have the best hospitals in Washington and are one of the safest places to be queer and/or trans in the country
