I partied th entire concert! TOTAL PARTY!!! Got OUTTA CONTROL!!! MISS MY MAN!
He left very early but had a bright and exciting life...👏👏👏👏
The guitar he's playing at the beginning was a gift from George Benson.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen him perform Let’s Go Crazy with the symbol guitar before 👍
Prince HE'S cool best dress very polite 👌 and very handsome man and no one can touch Him He is the best I ever heard ❤ LOL PRINCE ❤ RIP
The Ultimate Master of Ceremony 🔱
I was there. In a way I still am.
'His Royal PRN Badness' @ it AGAIN!☔🎶🎵🎼💜☔
I was at this concert! Doors opened at 8pm at The Convention Center, Prince didn't even get on stage until around 10pm...I've seen Prince 4 times, this particular show, unfortunately was my least favorite! But, when he came back 2 Naptown, during the ONA Tour 01', and The MusicologyTour in 04', he killed it!!👍🎹🎼🔥
Yeah, I saw the Purple Rain tour and Musicology shows in Indy... oh and his show at the Murat in 2001. I skipped this one though. I wasn't big on the "New Power Soul" album or the stuff he was doing with Chaka and Graham around this time.
Excellent concert! It was very loud at the end, like an airplane was taking off💜 (I think so)💜
It was a "lot" going on in that beautiful concert💜
Wow! I was at this show. What a memory! Thanks for putting this up!
He don't need a big choreography, art is talking itself fully with Prince Rogers Nelson
I was here 2nd row! It was right after they did the Today Show and they turned off Larry's mic lol 1:25:10

My mom and I were here. I remember she couldn’t take the bass and went all the way to the back lol. Does anyone have a better recording? Also does anyone know where the Collinsville Illinois concert he did in May 1998
Thanks so much for posting this! I had a bootleg VHS of the show. I had to find it when I found out it existed. I am the goofy guy that was the first one from the audience that was invited onstage. Thanks to Marva King!
Was at this show. Convinced a girl to make the trip with me like two days before. We ate sushi and ecstasy and went nuts. Fun night.
The best way to describe this show:
A Prince concert where they do the after-show FIRST.
As much as we all love Chaka and the Family Stone members on the stage with Prince -- to me -- the show doesn't really get started until Prince's main set after the second hour or so.
Once it's underway, holy sh!+, it is one of the best Prince concerts I've ever watched!

Why was he playing the convention center? That's such a small venue. He should have played MSA or the Dome.
His presence on the charts was diminishing so he wasn't as popular amongst the 'general population' and he was focused on being an independent artist away from the major labels.
He started playing big venues in the States again in 2004 when he released Musicology on a major label and made a 'comeback' in the public arena with his show stopping performances at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction.

According to his bassist at the time (an interview on the FUNKNSTUFF RUclips channel), Prince was still selling HUGE amounts of records, but he was selling direct-to-customer via his website. The charts didn't reflect the sales, but Price was absolutely still moving big units.
ALESSANDRO DE SOUZA
Not his best before or after. Too many people on stage first hour. I think the only time prince let Larry sing his hit, I love "just be my lady " but he seemed rushed, even though prince said take your time.
The facts are we don't know for, ac fact he's dead, that was taking somebodys word , believe nothing you hear half of what you see and even that's Quartier m questionable, nothing surprises me anymore
I'm a "question everything/trust no one" kinda' dude, myself.
