i have a theory! so, remember the repeated paintings of the palm tree near the end of the game? i have a feeling that the repetition could possibly represent extreme anxiety. it is common for people with anxiety to do the same thing over again, like watching the same episode of a tv show, or listening to the same song. the reasoning behind this is that there is comfort in the same thing, because it is familiar to you. this may be why the paintings are repeated, because Dean must enjoy the painting.

Theory 1: Hes overworking himself to the point of not sleeping for days, maybe even weeks? and when you don’t sleep for a few days straight you start hearing things, seeing things. you start. to go. insane. Theory 2: Hes dealing with severe depression and psychosis. everything he’s hearing and seeing is all due to his psychosis and that his psychosis is keeping him up at night, causing him to get even worse and maybe when he hears coughing it’s actually him taking pills to help cope or possibly he’s even taking drugs. Sooo the character in the story Dean Lied was actually the killer from the radio, and thought that someone was out to get him so he kept going to work to escape from that thought because he would be safe. Everything experienced in the game was in his imagination because as I previously mentioned, he thought something was out to get him or he thought he would go hecc and get punished for his actions. He was having a panic attack when he was hiding from the “creature” and couldn’t take it anymore and VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED And he... shot himself in the head to escape, which is a terrible thing and nobody should ever do as we know. If that radio recording in the beginning is true, it may be about the Todt family murders. It occurred in December 2019, I heard the word December in the recording. A man named Anthony Todt murdered his entire family, including the dog. He was a physical therapist. Idk if this relates to the game at all, but it’s good to make connections.

I had a theory that there was multiple chapters in a book and say there’s multiple books in an each chapter of each book they tell how each family member died from a serial killer

This game is crazy! I gathered up some information from my understanding and other comments: Dean is the character you play, who probably has bad mental health from a traumatic event in his life, which is why he moved for a “fresh start”. I believe his wife was murdered, guessing the beginning where we hear a woman being killed and the fact he has a picture of himself and another person, but we see him living alone. Dean most likely copes with work, keeping himself distracted from the memories, but the work only makes it worse for him. From another comment, the “Lied” part is most likely him lying to himself, saying everything will be alright, and the “I told you not to leave” must be him trying to take a break from work. But ultimately, he ends up committing suicide. Very sad game, anyone going through tough times please take the ending message to heart. Here’s my theory: I think that the person started freaking out in the office after the radio call about the dead family because he did it. Either the demons watching him made him do it or he did it just because. He has completely lost his mind and tries staying at work to seem sane and normal but he can’t do it. Every time he’s shot and respawns in a chapter, that’s the souls of the family who he killed getting revenge on him until he dies in the very end.

Just as a little bit of trivia that I think would be interesting: The radio audio of the murder case and the woman supposedly being murdered is from the canceled horror game P.T by (my homeboy) Hideo Kojima. In that game, you take control of a person who is stuck in a type of wormhole type loop, where every time you enter a new area of the house, it stays the same but with minor things changing or happening, for example; the radio message playing different messages.
Theory: After getting out of a relationship , He gets kicked out of the house, but before that, his partner changes his computer user name to "Dean Lied". As our protagonist moves into a new apartment, he quickly gets anxiety, and is suffering from depression. Needing a job, he works at an office. He becomes overworked and grows to hate the boss, who tells him to keep working, which is why the post It notes are there. After a while He starts to see things, as he barely sleeps. (you can tell from the coffee on the table) He starts having horrible nightmares. He sees ghosts, but not just any ghosts. He sees the ghosts of he family he murdered, being represented by the glowing eyes. He starts to hear the news broadcast that made him and his partner break up. Eventually, he gets tired of these nightmares, and cannot handle how guilty he feels. So after his last nightmare, Dean stands in the middle of his apartment, and shoots himself with the gun he used to kill the family. But, because of Dean's wrong doing, he is out in purgatory. Stuck, living the same awful cycle in his life. What's the point of the game? You are Dean, trying to break the cycle. But he is becoming nothing but *a distant memory.*. Edit: I have thought of something else that ties in with the same story, giving more evidence that Dean was a murderer. If you are wondering why it says "Why did you leave" I have an explanation. It's simple. Dean's partner is wondering why Dean I leaving so late in the morning, considering he doesn't have a job. This happens over and over again, until the dreaded night, where they found a family, dead in their own house, right after Dean returns. She then says, "This is the last time you will leave." As he gets kicked out. Also, you may be wondering why the ghosts are separated at 2:15 . Well, Dean has done this multiple times. The ghosts on the right might be Dean's victims. To be more specific, the victims who's bodies were never found. We can tell because when the screen flashes white, and a message appears, it asks why you leave, *MULTIPLE TIMES* But that's not all. Why is Dean's "favorite animal" a fox? Well, As a spirit animal, the fox reveals itself during times of great and unpredictable change. With its heightened sense of awareness, the fox compels you to turn up your own senses, gather the information you need, and act swiftly on your decision. The fox symbolizes mental responsiveness. This explains the 'go home?' message at the bottom right during the office hours. It's Dean deciding to stay at work, or go home. Also, The fox represents *great And unpredictable change, the change being Dean Moving into an apartment because he was just dumped. This game isn't just scary noises, scary messages, and a loud bang at the end, it's a greater story then most would think. Dean was going insane and he just couldn't take it anymore. The " demon " was just a voice inside of his head. None of the paranormal things actually happened, he was just imaging it.
This is my theory I think the girl in Dean's pfp is his wife or daughter. The sounds are of someone dying and it might be the girl. Dean has PTSD and is constantly hearing her die. He is traumatize and that explains why his boss sent him home. He wanted to stay at work to get away and once he gets home he dies. He might have died by the same person that killed the girl or he might have even taken his own life(he most likely offed himself). That's why the game has the final message it did.
I see everyone is doing theories so imma do one: Dean was married. He had children and he was happy. But somehow, he became mentally ill. His unconscious mind woke up and killed his family. He couldn't believe what he had done so he tried to think it was someone else. Ever since then he had been trying to go to work to distract himself and that made it worse. His mind made him think that the murderer was following him everywhere so when he went to work, he would feel unsafe. And, you the cameras, maybe while he was asleep, his unconscious mind woke up and set up those cameras himself to make it feel like he was being watched by someone else. You know those eyes? I think it is his boss and family and peer's eyes. They always judged him and his unconscious mind wanted to do something about it. All the files and everything weird got there because when he was sleeping, his unconscious mind woke up and put it there. One day, he cracked and shot himself.
The ‘dreams’ could be his mind trying to convince himself that some “monster” killed his family. And at the end with the phone ringing could’ve made him realize that he lied to himself. The one piece of the puzzle I might have solved. Why did he move in? He might’ve done it to evade the police, and he constantly says “alone” when talking about moving in. He hints that he might’ve already lost his sanity before moving in.

Heres my theory: Dean lived a happy life as a child, until a murderer killed his family. Ever since then, hes been focused on work and paranoid that something will kill him. Hes going insane because hes in debt, so he has to focus on work. But like I said before, hes paranoid. The eyes represent the people that have been killed, and the guilt he felt for the murderer. The monster and the murder sounds are his imagination of how his family died. The cameras have been placed by the murder/monster to track his every move and someday find him. My understanding of the story/game is that "Dean" the character of the game is so stressed from work to the point where he got obsessed to it. He isn't just obsessed to it, he's 'depressed' because he can't spend sometime with himself (like having fun). His depression was so deep to the point where the demon is able to control his mind like give him negative thoughts (perhaps make him suicidal). He had "nightmares" and it is a sign the demon had given him that he will be his. The demon will own him. That's why in the end of the end there was a message given on the screen that seek help if you're mental health is terrible before its too late. *Depression can drive you insane.*

Thus Dean (who you are playing as) may be a serial killer, and the demon or demons may be the people or person he killed. Maybe the one demon is Mia, but at the office there were many eyes, not sure how many, also the radio guy said so many people died 6? i believe. How many demon eyes were watching him? 6 i believe. Dean is mentally insane.

I think the game is about a guy who's wife left him and he lost his kids. That lead him to move into that apartment. Due to the anxiety and depression and other things he either had before or were caused by the divorce, he began to go a bit crazy. The only thing he has to keep his mind off of missing his family is work. So he works all the time and never stops. He doesn't sleep which contributes to him loosing his sanity. He begins to post those pictures all over the wall because that picture is of the place he had his honeymoon at with his ex wife. And the gunshot at the end is him shooting his wife. And then his kids after that. Hence the reason why you hear the story about the family being murdered on the radio.

i have a theory! so, remember the repeated paintings of the palm tree near the end of the game? i have a feeling that the repetition could possibly represent extreme anxiety. it is common for people with anxiety to do the same thing over again, like watching the same episode of a tv show, or listening to the same song. the reasoning behind this is that there is comfort in the same thing, because it is familiar to you. this may be why the paintings are repeated, because Dean must enjoy the painting.

Theory 1: Hes overworking himself to the point of not sleeping for days, maybe even weeks? and when you don’t sleep for a few days straight you start hearing things, seeing things. you start. to go. insane.
Theory 2: Hes dealing with severe depression and psychosis. everything he’s hearing and seeing is all due to his psychosis and that his psychosis is keeping him up at night, causing him to get even worse and maybe when he hears coughing it’s actually him taking pills to help cope or possibly he’s even taking drugs.
Theory 3: The eyes when he’s working are his co-workers checking in on him because they notice that something is wrong but his mind pictures that they are monsters.
Theory 4: The gunshot at the end is him actually killing himself due to how much stress he is under. this theory is also linking back to theory 2.

I have a theory on this game. Sooo the character in the story Dean Lied was actually the killer from the radio, and thought that someone was out to get him so he kept going to work to escape from that thought because he would be safe. Everything experienced in the game was in his imagination because as I previously mentioned, he thought something was out to get him or he thought he would go hecc and get punished for his actions. I gathered up some information from my understanding and other comments:
Dean is the character you play, who probably has bad mental health from a traumatic event in his life, which is why he moved for a “fresh start”. I believe his wife was murdered, guessing the beginning where we hear a woman being killed and the fact he has a picture of himself and another person, but we see him living alone. Dean most likely copes with work, keeping himself distracted from the memories, but the work only makes it worse for him. From another comment, the “Lied” part is most likely him lying to himself, saying everything will be alright, and the “I told you not to leave” must be him trying to take a break from work. But ultimately, he ends up committing suicide.
Very sad game, anyone going through tough times please take the ending message to heart. Love yourself and seek help if you are going through mental issues ❤

Here’s my theory: I think that the person started freaking out in the office after the radio call about the dead family because he did it. Either the demons watching him made him do it or he did it just because. He has completely lost his mind and tries staying at work to seem sane and normal but he can’t do it. Every time he’s shot and respawns in a chapter, that’s the souls of the family who he killed getting revenge on him until he dies in the very end.

The radio audio of the murder case and the woman supposedly being murdered is from the canceled horror game P.T by (my homeboy) Hideo Kojima. In that game, you take control of a person who is stuck in a type of wormhole type loop, where every time you enter a new area of the house, it stays the same but with minor things changing or happening, for example; the radio message playing different messages.

Theory: After getting out of a relationship , He gets kicked out of the house, but before that, his partner changes his computer user name to "Dean Lied". As our protagonist moves into a new apartment, he quickly gets anxiety, and is suffering from depression. Needing a job, he works at an office. He becomes overworked and grows to hate the boss, who tells him to keep working, which is why the post It notes are there. After a while He starts to see things, as he barely sleeps. (you can tell from the coffee on the table) He starts having horrible nightmares. He sees ghosts, but not just any ghosts. He sees the ghosts of he family he murdered, being represented by the glowing eyes. He starts to hear the news broadcast that made him and his partner break up. Eventually, he gets tired of these nightmares, and cannot handle how guilty he feels. So after his last nightmare, Dean stands in the middle of his apartment, and shoots himself with the gun he used to kill the family. But, because of Dean's wrong doing, he is out in purgatory. Stuck, living the same awful cycle in his life. What's the point of the game? You are Dean, trying to break the cycle. But he is becoming nothing but *a distant memory.*.
Edit: I have thought of something else that ties in with the same story, giving more evidence that Dean was a murderer. If you are wondering why it says "Why did you leave" I have an explanation. It's simple. Dean's partner is wondering why Dean I leaving so late in the morning, considering he doesn't have a job. This happens over and over again, until the dreaded night, where they found a family, dead in their own house, right after Dean returns. She then says, "This is the last time you will leave." As he gets kicked out. Also, you may be wondering why the ghosts are separated at 2:15 . Well, Dean has done this multiple times. The ghosts on the right might be Dean's victims. To be more specific, the victims who's bodies were never found. We can tell because when the screen flashes white, and a message appears, it asks why you leave, *MULTIPLE TIMES*
But that's not all. Why is Dean's "favorite animal" a fox? Well,
As a spirit animal, the fox reveals itself during times of great and unpredictable change. With its heightened sense of awareness, the fox compels you to turn up your own senses, gather the information you need, and act swiftly on your decision. The fox symbolizes mental responsiveness. This explains the 'go home?' message at the bottom right during the office hours. It's Dean deciding to stay at work, or go home. Also, The fox represents *great And unpredictable change, the change being Dean Moving into an apartment because he was just dumped. This game isn't just scary noises, scary messages, and a loud bang at the end, it's a greater story then most would think. Not to call names, but I wanted to make a theory backed by at least small amounts of evidence, and not just random guesses, which is why this comment is so big.

I'm not going to type a whole theory about this. But at the end during the credits, or whatever it was, it talked about mental health. Thinking back to the gun shot, he must have shot himself. Dean was going insane and he just couldn't take it anymore. The " demon " was just a voice inside of his head. None of the paranormal things actually happened, he was just imaging it.

This is my theory
I think the girl in Dean's pfp is his wife or daughter. The sounds are of someone dying and it might be the girl. Dean has PTSD and is constantly hearing her die. He is traumatize and that explains why his boss sent him home. He wanted to stay at work to get away and once he gets home he dies. He might have died by the same person that killed the girl or he might have even taken his own life(he most likely offed himself). That's why the game has the final message it did.

Dean was married. He had children and he was happy. But somehow, he became mentally ill. His unconscious mind woke up and killed his family. He couldn't believe what he had done so he tried to think it was someone else. Ever since then he had been trying to go to work to distract himself and that made it worse. His mind made him think that the murderer was following him everywhere so when he went to work, he would feel unsafe. And, you the cameras, maybe while he was asleep, his unconscious mind woke up and set up those cameras himself to make it feel like he was being watched by someone else. You know those eyes? I think it is his boss and family and peer's eyes. They always judged him and his unconscious mind wanted to do something about it. All the files and everything weird got there because when he was sleeping, his unconscious mind woke up and put it there. One day, he cracked and shot himself.

The one piece of the puzzle I might have solved. Why did he move in? He might’ve done it to evade the police, and he constantly says “alone” when talking about moving in. He hints that he might’ve already lost his sanity before moving in.

Heres my theory:
Dean lived a happy life as a child, until a murderer killed his family. Ever since then, hes been focused on work and paranoid that something will kill him. He hallucinates the monster as it being the person whom murdered his family. Since every chapter has more palm tree pictures, the palm trees mean everytime hes made a mistake in life. Hes going insane because hes in debt, so he has to focus on work. But like I said before, hes paranoid. The eyes represent the people that have been killed, and the guilt he felt for the murderer. The monster and the murder sounds are his imagination of how his family died. The cameras have been placed by the murder/monster to track his every move and someday find him.

My understanding of the story/game is that "Dean" the character of the game is so stressed from work to the point where he got obsessed to it. He isn't just obsessed to it, he's 'depressed' because he can't spend sometime with himself (like having fun). His depression was so deep to the point where the demon is able to control his mind like give him negative thoughts (perhaps make him suicidal). He had "nightmares" and it is a sign the demon had given him that he will be his. The demon will own him.
That's why in the end of the end there was a message given on the screen that seek help if you're mental health is terrible before its too late.

Theory: so dean needs to support him self he keeps telling him self to work and that’s his only goal in life is to work chapter 1 is the first step of him going insane his boss is telling him to get out of work for weird that’s why you hear foot steps chapters 2-4 are all his dreams in those dreams he keeps going more and more insane In chapter five the end he was going insane and thought her heard “the monster” which he was imagining. once he thought the monster was gone he found a camera which was a gun and shot him self with the “camera” (the reason he thought it was a camera is because he was going insane) That’s why at the end it says mental health is important (it is) The ending after is when dean first moved in showing that before working he was fine

That was probably my favourate Roblox game, and it was very scary and intense and heartbreaking as well but I enjoyed the video as always Albert.
I think the game is about a guy who's wife left him and he lost his kids. That lead him to move into that apartment. Due to the anxiety and depression and other things he either had before or were caused by the divorce, he began to go a bit crazy. The only thing he has to keep his mind off of missing his family is work. So he works all the time and never stops. He doesn't sleep which contributes to him loosing his sanity. He begins to post those pictures all over the wall because that picture is of the place he had his honeymoon at with his ex wife. And the gunshot at the end is him shooting his wife. And then his kids after that. Hence the reason why you hear the story about the family being murdered on the radio.

He becomes addicted and goes insane. The eyes are judgement he has get from his peers, friends,family, and himself. He constantly tries to ignore it but he continues to grow insane. He just wants to escape; he’s sick. He visions sick thoughts and feels pleased with them.

When Albert is serious about Mental health, you know he's serious. It's really nice to see that even a goofy guy cares about everyone. And to see him be serious about this really makes me genuinely smile. I have a lot of issues with my Mental health and watching his videos helps a lot. Keeps my mind off things. It's nice to see that he cares. It really warms my heart.
