Moved to Serbia a couple months back with my wife. We ended up preferring to settle down in Novi Sad, at least for the time being. We're both English teachers and work with people privately online. We are grateful for being able to do this relatively easily, in the sense that our job follows us wherever we go. We're in the process of getting everything ready to apply for residency. In the meantime, I continue working on my music and trying to get that off the ground to the point where I actually could call it a career of sorts and start monetising my work as an artist.
Hey girl love you’re courage. I’m from New York living in Novi Sad for the past year and doing the same on line thang .. I lived in Toronto for a little while for make up school . Good for you , keep it up ! if you’re ever in Novi Sad stop by for a coffee
I think I'm gonna follow your model. All I want is remote work. I already work in IT but it hurts me and my family day in and day out just an obligation to go to the office. Honestly I admire your bravery and honesty. I will be waiting for more of your videos.
@@Isabel-Maria Well, since this job I do right now, is my only source of income I need to transition slowly toward remote work and be careful, my family depends on me. I was thinking of doing the same as you did, a copywriter or a content writer, but any remote job that doesn't require phone calls is what I am considering. :)
This video really made me happy! I'm a fellow Canadian who's moving to Belgrade in a few months, and I'm glad to hear you're enjoying it! Also, my first real job was as a copyeditor, and I've worked in editing/translation since then, so we have that in common too. In any case, I look forward to living in Belgrade, and maybe we'll cross paths someday!
You have really inspired me. I'm born and raised in Toronto but my parents are from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Growing up I would always visit in the summer and I grew up to really love Bosnia. I am extremely miserable living in Canada and I want to move back to Bosnia where I am so happy. But the problem is I don't know how I can make money. But I will start copywriting.
It’s definitely very possible! I didn’t move here with any sort of online income set up. I’m gonna release a copywriting guide for beginners soon and will post a video when I do 🥰
I've been working as a developer for 7 years and I haven't started earning normally yet. I thought people were more normal in IT but still. Everyone is looking to humiliate you, undercut you, pay you less, and the more you give them, the more rude they are. I'm sick of programming for someone else. I work with React and Laravel, but they are looking for something else everywhere. When you learn the second thing, then they ask for something else. I don't even want to study anymore. I just use my brain in existing technologies and that's it. Otherwise, the most I hate are people who make crappy applications, don't finish the application until it works, and when you finish for them for a small amount of money, they criticize you for how it could have been done better and faster. 😀
@@Isabel-Maria just want to work and all leave me alone 💪😆 Name Isabel always remember me, in Switzerland the neighbor shouted Isabel Isabel Isabel, french accent wife beat him like 🤣
You speak like an profesional TV presenter, very pleasant voice. You can earn from your YT channel more, dedicating more vlogs to womans/mens who are abroad challenging different problems, good things, bad things, fears, solutions, hopes etc.

I totally get that! Working 40 hours a week from an office is intense. Do you have any specific questions about how to get more remote work?

Amazing! I’ll be posting a YT video about copywriting and releasing an e-book on how to get started copywriting on upwork very soon 🥰

Honestly, not sure. You could check work away

Serbia is pretty nice 🥰 not entirely sure how to get a legit job in Serbia, I just work as a freelancer
