- The plaintiff hired the defendant to find her a housekeeper, but she claims the woman failed to find her a person she liked, so the plaintiff is suing for a refund. The defendant insists she found the plaintiff a housekeeper she initially approved of. However, after two months, the defendant says the plaintiff wanted someone new. Per their contract, the defendant agreed to find another housekeeper, but she says the plaintiff decided to file this frivolous lawsuit instead.

She wants a servant not a housekeeper!
Not a servant, a slave and that is not done in America, or in the UK these days.
She needs to go back where she came from then! This is not normal!
Ok
That’s what it sounded like to me when she first testified. Talking about going to the store and prepping garlic so she can cook. That’s not in a nanny nor a housekeeper’s job
Yeah imagine wanting clean dishes 😂😂😂🙄🙄
This lady seems like a total nightmare. She had better pay 6 figures for what she's expecting
You said it perfectly! 👍
she wanted a slave.
I doubt it!
@@johnsradios484 Come back when you are sure.
actually she is the typical type of person who hires agencies to send over a super nanny . my cousin is a former school teacher and she has been a professional nanny now for 20 years and she will only work for wealthier families because they not only pay more but they also have multiple nannies and housekeepers that work different shifts so no need to live there .
You can absolutely tell she has extreme expectations with a nasty attitude. Good for the people who walked away
Seriously. God help us who must work for others for survival.
I don't really think expecting clean dishes or a person actually doing their job (without being told every second what to do - clean up) is all that unreasonable. When I do dishes, I feel them to ensure the surface is smooth and not greasy. I saw someone who left cutlery disgustingly greasy (so much so that he had to rinse them off before using them) because he wouldn't use hot water.
@@wvrjl I've has people clean my homes and a simple conversation can resolve this issue. I just think this person was a nitpicked and nothing will or would make her happy. To hear several people not 1 had a bad instance leads me to believe it is her
I had a boss like at my first job at Knotts Berry Farm while I was in high school. We had no customers so I got some cleaners and paper towel and start cleaning the dirty storage slots underneath the counter and she started to argue with me about not being at the cashier (she didn't even come to the shop and check, just observed from far away). She comes by later on and starts to argue with me. Showed her the cleaning I did, and quit.
@@wvrjlCold water works just as good. Why warm water is suggested while hand washing is for our comfort. If you wash correctly, the proper length time, water temp don't matter.
I think she needed to look for someone who would do it all rather than a housekeeper. She wanted a nanny, house keeper, errand runner, cook, all in one.
That’s what a house keeper is. You might be confused with a house cleaner.
@oldageisdumb - I don't agree at all that a housekeeper automatically includes nanny duties (or even errands, unless it has to do with keeping house).
The duties were clear from the beginning. The business owner is not going to just send people over that aren’t matched to the job as stated in the contract or she could be legitimately sued.
@@oldageisdumbNo. It's not. That's what they call hotel cleaners. Housekeeping. They aren't cook, nannies or personal assistants.
@@0LadyV0 Look, there are most definitely housekeepers that are all those things. You seem to not realize that. I don’t know how to help you understand. Yes, there are people who only clean but that’s not what she was hiring. She was hiring a traditional LIVE IN housekeeper, which is different. Think of Alice on the Brady Bunch. Alice was a live in house keeper.
My mom always told me if your gonna be picky about it do it yourself so when it's not done properly you'll have nobody to blame but you
Plaintiff is a nightmare to work with. Nobody is good enough. I feel bad for her family.
Why? Her family doesn't have to do anything. That's why she hires help.
@peekaboots01 she's probably really strict with them as well that's whay he meant.
She doesn't want a housekeeper. She wants a crew of "help" for the price of one.
Not really. A live in housekeeper is exactly the right person for the job.
If she’s willing to pay for it she can have what she wants - other people would refer to that job title as a wife and mother 😏
I am a clean freak and very picky in how I like my house cleaned, so I do it myself. When you like things done in a very specific way, best to do them yourself.
Best said
My momma always told me this!
My mother is exactly the same! Nobody cleans better than she does according to her that’s why she will never hire anybody else to do it. The plaintiff is Delu lu
I worked for a lady like that. She’d follow me around telling me how I should do this and that. Lady! Do it yourself then!
I ended up leaving that job. I work for myself and don’t put up with that nonsense
I clean for wonderful awesome people who have never near acted like the plaintiff.
If they did, I’d walk
The plaintiff needs to clean her own house.
Right
I couldn’t even imagine having so much money where I could PAY someone to FIND someone that I can PAY to clean my house. I can barely afford cheap cleaning supplies to be able to clean up for myself.
I didn't even know this profession existed. Also for that price is crazy. Soon people are gonna need someone to help them decide when to take a poop.
If it helps buying the chemical and mixing it yourself (with water) saves a lot of money. Not applicable to everything (as far as I know), but that’s what I do for some cleaning products
It all boils down to one thing: Time is money. Why waste time on the tedious task of vetting people if you can afford to have someone else do it for you? Companies do it all the time by going through agencies to find the right person for the job and paying them thousands of dollars per employee. And I'm not talking about fast food jobs. If you can't understand there's a market for this type of service, you're obviously not part of the target market.
through an agency, which they have been around for many years, you pay a fee and for a service they do for you. But rich ladies are very hard to please, that has been known for many years in the USA.
Try:
2 Tablespoons Dawn Dishwashing Liquid (must be blue Dawn original)
1/2 c. white vinegar
32 oz. water
Put this in a spray bottle and use for general cleaning. It’s awesome, and and smells nice, too. 😊
House cleaners don't cook. That's not in the job description. She's looking to get freebies.
The plantiff is the type that whips her maid for pausing work to get a glass of water on a hot summer day. Then on top it, deducts that glass of water out of the maids paycheck.
Lady ate 9/10ths of the steak and wanted a refund..
Exactly
I’m guessing you watch judge Judy😂
@@Musicfan-dz6yz 😂😂👍
JJ reference 😅😅😂
She said "I sent her right back"....of the 2nd Housekeeper who she let go after 1 day! If you let a person talk long enough, they're real personality comes to light. Feel sorry for anyone who works with this woman.
She seems impossible to please .
How did she think she’d win this? LOL
I love that the defendant had so much support with her. #girlpower
She’s looking for Rosie the Robot, not a nanny. Someone with a vacuum in one hand, a spoon stirring a pot with the other, all while teaching her kids calculus.
I’ve been fortunate to have had house cleaners for over 30 years. We have been lucky in that they come over and do their job and are reliable and trustworthy. We have had our newest one for over 3 years, before we moved here our housekeeper was with us for 15 years.
Treat people like you want to be treated.
Some people are almost impossible to please they're always going to find something wrong
Plantiff seems like shed have unreasonable expectations of a housekeeper, nanny, maid, what ever you want to call what she was looking for.
Oh, dear! A housekeeper isn't a cook. The plaintiff is clearly not someone who understands how to treat employees. Bless her heart.
The plaintiff was clearly asking for too much.
Maybe the lady is the problem, she’s probably very picky.
Maybe, but expecting clean dishes and someone doing their job is not unreasonable.
@@wvrjl that’s common sense but when you go thru a lot of help like that, you tend to wonder about that person.
@@wvrjland that’s why she should do it herself!! Are train people to do the work you want them to do!!
That lady wanted a slave not a housekeeper, she really wanted to live the crazy rich asian lifestyle on a flint water budget
Sounds like the plaintiff isn't looking for a housekeeper she wants a servant. She's a trip
This makes me so happy I got out of housekeeping years ago. She wants a lot for less.
You have no idea what she’s paying the housekeeper.
If she’s that strict or demanding with housekeepers, imagine how she is with her kids
😬
That is a good thing. Have you seen American kid test score
Demanding, for not one person can do what she wanted and be cheap.
@@skrmacs4815 yes but also they’ve shown that that level of strictness on mental health of children really increases suicide rates and or just overall bad mental health later on in life you can teach your kids and have them learn without being so strict and demanding
@@skrmacs4815A person's human worth is not based on their test scores...sheesh.
@ it is lady.
A house keeper does not do cooking prep 🤨
Since when do housekeepers do kitchen prep work handling food? Housekeepers are supposed to clean the house. Right? What that woman wants is a slave! She needs to do her own work!
No, that would be a house cleaner. There are plenty of house keepers that are there to manage the house and do work such as cleaning, meal preparation, organizations and shopping.
@@oldageisdumb so butler and maids
Alice from The Brady Bunch was a housekeeper. She did all those things. Alex Murdaugh's family housekeeper did all those things. And after her death, he ripped off her son's for the insurance money.
Housekeepers often cook, so often.
@@nancygodsey8312- I was thinking the same, exact thing, lol (The Brady Bunch).
I owned and operated a residential house cleaning company in SF many years ago. I later started an offshoot business that did what this woman does, sans the babysitter/childcare aspect. The difference was that I personally trained everyone in my hiring pool.
Everyone who walked away, they should count there blessings.
I would not want to work for that lady!!!! Hell no!!!
JM is WRONG. The plaintiff is TOTALLY UNREASONABLE.
I understand that she wanted someone with certain criteria. Especially since it’s a live in situation with her family.
But no one is 100% perfect.
That’s why we need robots
Out of the gate, before the introduction was even finished, I can tell that she was the kind of person that is never satisfied. But let me see if I'm right....
Yep. She's insufferable. I absolutely believe she is impossible to please. She should just run her house herself. Whoever is working for her now, I feel sorry for them. Lol
After her initial three people under the original contract, she saw 6 others that did not make her happy. WOW!
My mom is a housekeeper and people will be picky to an extreme. People will time you if you take too long and finish too fast your job for the amount of money. They will never be happy unless they do it themselves.
True that
100%
I have had a bad experience with one housekeeper. I have a housekeeper because I can't clean the house myself. She wouldn't come on some days and she would also not clean everything because she said that it was clean enough. Some housekeepers are extremely lazy.
My mom has her own housecleaning business too. Completely agree, people can be extremely picky and ridiculous.
There is no need to have a nasty attitude with anyone, if you are hard to please, I agree best to do it yourself.
"Send her right back" like puppies from a pound or something....
The Plaintiff is so annoying
Sounds like she needs to be a damn mother for her kids and stop putting everything else before them and the house go to work go home and be an adult you’re not a slave owner
There isnt a snowballs chance that i would work for that woman - she expects a slave not a house keeper...
How can you afford a cleaning person but cannot afford a dish washer? The plates were greasy?
I don't even think Maria from The Sound Of Music would've been suitable. 🤣
Don’t you mean Mary Poppins?
For real Maria didn't even cook
Heaven help anybody working for her
As a housekeeper myself, I would have ran for the hills as soon as I met this lady. She better be paying well over 30$ for all she’s expecting out of a “housekeeper”. A housekeeper helps you maintain your home, not your life.
Love Judge Milian! She is always always fair and listens to the people. She doesn’t judge them up front until she gets to know the case & situation. She doesn’t think herself better than anyone before her like some other judges I know!!
Always fair 😂😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
So the plaintiff is the problem…. Got it
Plaintiff does sound picky - taking issue with how fast she shopped garlic?? Maybe she needs a chef instead. Also, if going on People's Court JM doesn't want to see your calendar!! haha
I feel like the plaintiff decided after she fired the first housekeeper that she wanted her money back. So she decided not to accept any of the other interviewers to get out of the deal. However she didn't fully understand the contract she made.
The plaintiff sounded absolutely horrible. I doubt she will ever be happy.
Plaintiff is beyond difficult and unreasonable.
13:56 - Good luck getting someone to sign that contract, Harvey! You could, however, agree to pay them a bonus if it lasts 6 months or more.
Lady, you need a chef, nanny, housekeeper and assistant not one person. Stop being cheap and overworking someone
I’m only a couple minutes in and already I’m wondering if the plaintiff thought she was getting a servant.
Me too
The plaintiff is a nightmare.
So she wanted a Nanny, Maid, Chef and A House Keeper all in one but only wanted to pay House Keeping Salary 😅
I'm sure the plaintiff is very difficult to deal with and likely has ridiculous expectations...clean up behind yourself if you are that picky.
The expectation for 'housekeeper' in asia is very different in US. I think that may be the reason, the plaintiff could not find a suitable candidate. And that one comment about the plaintiff not looking in the eye of the candidate could also be a cultural thing.
Difficult person and does not want to pay to boot!
Wow, within the first minute of her speaking I knew I would never work with this lady, you can't and won't satisfy this type of person......seriously just walk away the money won't be worth it!!! 😊
She is looking for a 2nd mom. I mean Nannie's may do light housekeeping, but the focus is the kids. A housekeeper keeps the house;she wants an all in one. Huh, I don't think too many are going to last long because why do you pay for that gig?
She hired a housekeeper
Not a personal chef
Housekeepers CLEAN the house...thats it.
You are 💯 Wrong
@@manthony777how are they wrong? Housekeepers clean house. They aren't chefs and cooks, too.
Wrong. It was a live in situation and more than just cleaning. I think she needed to look for someone who would do it all rather than a housekeeper. She wanted a nanny, house keeper, errand runner, cook, all in one.
@@ninahowell6550 ,
You are confusing Housekeeper with Cleaning Lady.
Housekeepers do much more than cleaning. Ask Alice from The Brady Bunch
This is wrong. You are confusing housekeeper with house cleaner
My gosh. These are people! Not robots! The plaintiff is disgusting to be honest! I hope she never finds anyone! Do it yourself!!!
she’s just hard to please. That’s all it’s her problem.
People like the plaintiff need to clean their own houses and do their own cooking if they're so picky about how exactly they'd like it to be done. If you want something done right, do it yourself. There's a reason that's a saying... I can't believe she tried to push her poor reading and understanding of the contract that they had with each other on the other woman who was just trying her best to do her job while having to deal with such a picky client. I could never deal with people like that.
She can afford to hire a full-time housekeeper but wastes her time and sues for $650? 😆 😅
This lady seems like she would be a nightmare to work for.
the plaintiff is the boss from hell. I don't believe she has someone working for her. she wants to drive people crazy.
The plaintiff wanted Alice from The Brady Bunch.
I hope she doesn’t find ANYONE. Clean your house your own damn self. Sounds like she want a servant that she can just ring a bell and someone come running. Bye miss
The plaintiff isn't someone I would want to work for.
It's hard enough to find someone just to come in and clean properly. It would be extremely hard to find a live-in who is compatible.
She wants a house manager
Wow, the plaintiff looks like Michael Jackson... xD
I’ve cleaned houses AND Businesses & NEVER in all the homes/places I’ve cleaned have I ever had to cook… Rich people problems!! Seriously need to live in the REAL world that she will cut her own garlic and fix he own pasta…
A “housekeeper” would probably do any extra errands you want them to if they have time & work for you specifically!
I’ve been fortunate in all the years I’ve had help, my gals have always done whatever I needed (mostly basic stuff), but if I wanted something special done, they would do it, but I always paid them accordingly! Plaintiff seems to think she can find someone to do everything for her & maybe she can, but she’s gonna pay big bucks I’m sure of that!!
Plaintiff is an abusive control freak.
The worst possible combo for a boss.
Im glad no one took her BS.
Harvey gave a horrible advice at the end. Giving ideas on how to screw hard working people to people
like the plaintiff is unethical!
Great verdict!
Plaintiff comes across as someone who's a task master and will explode like a volcano if she dosen't like the way somethings done.
Maybe she should find someone on her own she’s really picky
Getting a housekeeper that does as you wish is hard. In 5 yrs I’ve had 9 different services/individuals to do just a decent houseclean once a month. Two stole from me and I had to go to court. This lady wants more then housekeeping. I’m an old human (72) who needs help to keep my home nice. The delimma over housekeepers really needs solving in our society.
Sometimes even Goldilocks can’t work it out.
She basically wants a clone of herself 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
"You know" No, we don't.
Honestly this isnt the same, but I've now learned to not go to the nail salon because I rarely meet a tech that does my nails the way I need it.
As you grow older you have to adjust. I'll go to the nail salon for nexgen. But not for regular polish or gel manicures. No one can do my brows but me. I do my hair and no one else can do it except one person but that's only for a certain type of braiding hairstyle.
It's okay to have a preference. Just tailor it when your working with someone else, and work with them for their best attributes and talent.
Like some products over promise. I've learned that a exfoliating scrub is great but I still need to buy a tea tree wash for acne.
I dont think she liked the business owners style. So pick a more high end approach.
It's okay if it's not a fit.
Okay.👌
People wants things/work done for almost no pay. Low pay in USA is criminal
My brothers exwife was the same. She went through about 10 nanny's in Hong Kong and Singapore. She was a delusional on what was the definition of nanny. Decided nanny meant everything not take care of child
Great ruling Judge!
You can just tell that’s she isn’t to nice and expects everything perfect….
The plaintiff is looking for more than a housekeeper atp. Like she has way too high of a expectation.
I rly feel sorry for the plaintiffs kid if she has one* she will never meet her expectations
Hell, I wouldn't work for that woman. Hell no.
The plaintiff should try being a housekeeper for 90 days. I think any kind of cleaning job is under appreciated.
Nope. I would have cut her off. Some clients are impossible & not worth the money.
Plaintiff expecting a housekeeper to do all the servant's work as well as house keep, good luck with that lady because it's not that the person was too slow but had to much to do, with too little time.
Must be nice to have such an issue as ur help not washing dishes correctly. Would u not have an expensive dishwasher in ur plush home🙄rich people issues.
Easy to see what went on here. The Oriental Oriental lady is so picky she could have gone through a hundred people before she ever found one that would be subservient, endless patience, see and not be seen, do everything, and the whole nine yards.
Bottom line clean your own house 🏡 Lazy 🤪💯
The way it was going I am sure the defendant was nervous😂😂😂 talk about a plot twist.
It really seems the plaintiff is almost impossible to please. Finding someone who is going to do everything exactly how you want it done can be extremely difficult. I wonder how long her current employee will last under those conditions.
They could've sent Jesus over there, and she still would've complained 😂😂😂
