These 32 sonatas are among the most beautiful ever written and this performance is among the best ever recorded. I grew up on the Schnabel recordings and thought they WERE the best until I heard Goode. His performances equal Schnabel's. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to hear them, but they would be SO much better if the (expletives deleted) commercials did not get in the way of the music.
Great! Wonderful interpretation. I played the sonata many times myself. But this is one of the best performances I have heard. Friedrich Gulda and Arthur Schnabel are two other greats.
