    The Bucs treated the Lions victory like it was a playoff win and came out playing like a bunch of hungover drunks who spent their entire week celebrating and treating Denver like a bye-week. Meanwhile the Broncos played like their season was on the line. Just a recipe for disaster. Hopefully this embarrassing loss will sober them up. The schedule only gets tougher from here on.

    Thank you for saying, "if they cover well, no QB is going to look good." People never seem to consider that fact. It's never that the D left nothing open... It's always, "the QB played poorly." Sometimes the D deserves all the credit by giving the QB NO good choices.

    Sean Peyton is a mastermind. Instead of targeting the receivers, he went straight after Baker in every way. He did the same to the defense, targeting the rookie corners ALL GAME LONG. The Broncos played with extreme physicality, look at how hard the DEN's db's hit Cade Otton. Peyton was ready for this game, while TB was eatin' that cheese.

    It's our O-line & D-line! We had ZERO sacks & maybe 1 QB pressures against Denver. They had 7 sacks & twice as many QB pressures.
    Mayfield was sacked once in week 1, when we still had Luke Goedeke at right tackle. Since then, Mayfield has been sacked 12 TIMES in 2 games!! And we STILL can't run the ball! WTF!! Fml!! 😂😢

    Denver played like they needed this win more. And they did. It's as simple as that. There is still a lot of football left. Stop freaking out, everyone. Every team has this kind of game. The Bucs have the injury bug right now, like most teams. Reminds me of last year when the Saints kicked thier ass. This team will figure it out and get back on track.

    My view, the Bucs got a little complacent, after beating the Lions in Detroit. Denver was hungry and very well prepared. Bucs need to lick their wounds, and prepare very hard for the next game. The O line and the D line were both bad for the Bucs. OC needs to draw up "fast release" throwing plays, where Bake gets rid of the ball very quickly. The smart guys in the Bucs Org need to put their heads together.

  • @JohnnyRodriguez-j5f
    @JohnnyRodriguez-j5f 2 дня назад

    I couldn’t believe how predictable the Buccs offense was. They were looking to pass most of the time. They actually had good runs, especially Irving! They got a touchdown because Irving and White were getting through. Then, after the touchdown, they abandoned the run. If they didn’t get yards on the run on the first play, the next 2 plays were passes. Easy for a defense to read and stop.

  • @bucsredsoxredwings

    I don´t have a problem if things don´t work, you change in the game and it does not work either. But to no change anything on offense and defense, it´s unacceptable. Coen has not adjusted for 2 weeks in a row now. Meanwhile, Canales and Dalton crush the Raiders.

    Bigger issue is the offensive line was absolutely terrible. We need godeke back in a bad way and the rest of he line needs to step up too. Even when baker had time, no one was open so bake had to hold onto the ball. It’s one bad game. Bad on defense and offense. They’ll be better next week and we HAVE to get some of our stud starters back asap. Mainly vita, Antoine, and goedeke. Missing goedeke has really been a glaring mismatch on opposing defenses the last 2 games. If he misses a 3rd game from a concussion I’m gonna be stunned and pretty pissed off. Let’s hope we see him at practice this week 🤦

      Lol baker is part of the blame from that game he ran into sacks and pressures several times trying to run instead just throwing the ball away. I personally think because of the commanders and lions games he made plays with his legs so now he thinks he's vanilla vick lol and trying to do that every game now he's gotta a lil big headed he's gotta watch this tape get back to the basics he's a rhythm and timing pocket passer that every now and then can extend plays and make some things happen with his legs he isn't Lamar Jackson

    Simply put, the offensive line was terrible and the defensive line was terrible. The injuries added up and the right guard is killing them on the offensive line. Literally. Against Detroit he gave up 4.5 sacks to Hutchinson. This week against Denver he beat that, gave up 5 sacks to Zach Allen. Maybe next week he will give up 6 sacks to whoever he is playing against on the Eagles? Tristan Wirfs great streak came to an end - he gave up two sacks as well. The defensive line could generate no pressure at all without Vita Vea and Calijah Kancey. The brutal truth is the starters when playing are good. The backups are not as good. Especially in the right guard position. It is going to be targeted until Shaq Mason returns and gives some relief for Mayfield and the backfield.

  • @StupidMoniker
    @StupidMoniker 3 дня назад +1

    Being down a starting RT and having one of the worst RG in the NFL might have had something to do with it. Mauch has to improve or be replaced, and Goedeke needs to get back ASAP. On the defensive side, being without Vea, Kancey, and Winfield doesn't help either. I think people are being too quick to panic when the Bucs have a lot of key players out.

    • @timothyfitzgerald3168
      @timothyfitzgerald3168 3 дня назад +2

      What is especially annoying: Denver was also playing a backup Right Tackle (an UNDRAFTED one even) and the Bucs were unable to get anything on him. Bucs RT misses a couple games and they take 12 sacks in 2 games.🤪

    Goedecke being out has hurt Mauch, too. Baker took some sacks he shouldnt have, but the Broncos pressure was consistent and real. He wasnt bailing on clean pockets.
    His INT was bad, tried forcing a ball to Mike when he had other guys open for a 1st down. But with the attention Evans is getting, and I'm sure they focused more on Godwin after Detroit, where were McMillan and Palmer?
    They talked up McMillan all training camp and pre-season. He had 4 nice plays drawn for him against the Redskins, and all couldve been TDs (2 basically were). Why isnt Coen designing plays where McMillan is the first option, to penalize Defenses locking onto Mike and Chris? And Palmer isnt a great route runner, nor does he have good hands. They should be trying to hit him deep off play action or dummy routes from Mike/Chris, at least once a game. His speed is his best asset, use it!
    Just a dud all around. Biggest bright spot was Carmada, hopefully he carries that forward when the rest of the team shows up again.

    You can talk about strategy all you want to, & there is some merit to that, but the truth is the Bucs didn't come to play. If you want to see the perfect example of this, watch the first play in this video clip below. It's the first play of the 2nd half. It's only 20-7 so if TB comes out & gets after it to get it into the end zone this is a game again. That's not what happens.
    Keep your eyes on LT Tristan Wirfs, one of the strongest players in the NFL. He's going to peel off & get downhill into the Denver secondary where he will have a running 10 yard start at Riley Moss, Denver's 195 pound CB...who he outweighs by 125 pounds.
    What you're about to see, I have never seen in the 55 years I have watched the NFL. If I were Todd Bowles, I would make Wirfs run wind sprints every day till he pukes for the next month. When you're an All-Pro offensive tackle & you get your ass kicked by a cornerback, you need a serious intervention from your coaches.

Mayfield would even bailout when he didn't need to, missing huge plays down field. The ALL 22 clearly showed that Broncos coverage wasn't all that, Baker just refused to throw to multiple receivers who were in fact open.
