My mentor introduced me to you at one of your talks at your firm in 2018 (wow time flies fast!). I am ever grateful for the opportunity to have attended, the kindness in connecting me with further inspiring individuals and the chance to hear you speak in person. Thank you, Mrs Harris.
A mentor is critical. But so many people are so insecure and jealous that they will not help you.
Good morning Thank you. That is good information but how about you don't know anyone how do you find one. If you have any ideas on finding someone or the resources that would be great. How did you get your mentor sounds like you already knew the person?
As per my experience, you can't, you can't find a mentor, you can't asked to be mentored.
The only thing you can do is to ask for advice and express your need for help. More than that, you will be perceived as needy or clingy.
Mentors have had your age. They know exactly what you're about. If they want to help, they will, as they see you in need for it. If they don't, leave them alone, you can exchange benefit for benefit, case by case, one for you, one for them.
