@@blantondynamics1999, 290wb, I drove it home 500 miles from Chicago, but it needs oil leaks fixed, (peanut cover gaskets, and it looks like the front crank seal) front tires, I’d like to swap the wheels, as it has super singles, and then the icon style up front. I wanna do polished 24.5lp and paint the frame and have a vinyl company put a small graphic on the side. Just a lot a little things.. needs a new grill, as the one on it’s pretty rough shape. Needs new mirror brackets, it’s got daylight doors from an 07 and they don’t work. Both need regulators and motors. Just lots of little shit. The lights have a pretty big draw need to get charging system up to snuff, finish the interior. That’s where I started redoing the hard wood floors and putting a bed in it as it was just subs lol.
This one isn't super special but I've been working my butt off to get the content and video together for the one everyone is actually Waiting on. Engine had to come out. I wasn't happy with my polish job. I'm almost ready to post it.
Thanks for the info. I have 2 and never needed either of them. Lol figured it was China being lazy with that socket and just shipped them out that way instead of fixing the machine that made that size. I've had that set of sockets for probably 10 years.
Last weekend there was a truck shop closing auction in Trenton,NC.. I know had a ton Peter boxes and steps. Prob had KW ones.. I bought some stuff..should have paid better attention to that stuff.. lots was going cheap
I think that was the same auction that had some 3406E engine that were supposedly rebuilt. I thought about going with an older engine but people want an arm and 2 legs for them.
@@blantondynamics .. it haf one the guy just rebuilt.. it went cheap i think for being a fresh rebuild. I think was a complete used one as well. Ur bought better off finding a whooe truck sitting with a motor in it..when guys have engine oit on the ground.. like it turns to gold
@brentlance2379 you've got that right! Once I have this one together and making money, I'm gonna buy a backup truck just in case this one goes down. I have my eye on a old 95 freightliner daycab with a cummins. It was rebuilt about 8 years ago with low miles. Just needs alot of tlc. It's been sitting for 4 years. Needs tires, hoses, belts, brakes, etc. Things I would do to any older truck to make reliable.
@@blantondynamics I have heard of guys changing their motor serial numbers to make there newer cat engines older and eld except I’m going to guess this is illegal but thought I would share.

That socket is made for taking off the inner lug for stud pilot wheels 🤘🏼it’s an actual socket socket 😂
