The way the enemies are created in their grotesque way is quite scary, even I jump at the littlest of things in this game
It's either a mask, or their skin is just that horribly loose on their faces.
No I thought it was skin too but you can actually see on close up angles that the chefts are wearing masks. Crazy.
Plus in one of the scenarios in the kitchen where you're sneaking past the Smiling Twin (at least, that's my nickname for the chef who only becomes an active threat after you yank the key off the hook in their bedroom), while he's preparing some meat, you can occasionally see him pick up a chunk and partially lift his face/mask up to eat it. Dunno whatever's underneath, but it's kind of.. uh... a silvery fish-scale colour and texture, respectively.
It's possible that those are masks, but equally not so. The game does lag, actually a bunch; that really cues into how underdeveloped the game really can be. Many of the monsters can faze through objects; I once got grabbed by the Janitor through a solid wall. Anways, the skin you guys are seeing might be just the frame the developers were working with whilst creating the chefs. You have to admit, the size of their heads do match up with their body, unless their body is a costume as well.
If they are wearing a mask, what purpose would it serve? I've heard of people saying it could be used as a scare factor to keep the kid prisoners in check, but the kids don't even see the chefs since the now disarmed Janitor has wrapped them up nice and tight.

Guys, I was watching my friends play little nightmare, then, when they were in the kitchen I looked closely at the chef and it seemed like they were wearing a costume in some way... I know it's not important but just wanted to say...

The Janitor was *disarmed*,
The Guests souls were sapped from them/killed,
The Lady was cannibalized by Six.
The only ones to actually escape without coming to harm were the twin chefs, which was kind of disappointing that they didn't get a fitting punishment like the rest did.

The chefs are two different persons, yes PEOPLE! They where masks becuse the lady forces them to cook, teh lady is jeleus about people bing more pretty then her, even BEING NORMAL. Teh chefs where normal, but if the lady knew that, she woud kill them, and they dont want to kill childeren, but they also dont want to die, they know that the aldy can kill them hith ease, so they just play along.
The guests are normal people, but the lady feeds them human flesh, it has a lot of calories, so they become fat, cornivorus, and blood thirsty, the lady doesnt do this, becuse she knows that tehy will kill six, why they want six to die comes later,
Teh lady is aculy six's mother, she knows that six is beautiful, even more then her, so she wants to kill six, but her power only works when she makes eye contact whith someone, so six uses teh mirror so the lady makes eye contact whith herself, hurting her,
During the game, six becomes more carnivorus, first, she eats bread, to meat, to flesh, and finaly, the lady, she eats her, when she is still alive, and becomes very carnivorus, wanting to kill everyone, getting revenche

I really wish there was more encounter with the Lady. Considering that she was the final boss and the owner of the Maw, she didn't get much attention she deserved. Hope to see her more in upcoming DLC chapters

Although we never get to deal with the Twin Chefs in the same way as the Janitor and the Lady, in a way, we were able to get revenge on them.
1. Continuously outwitted by Six, the Twins pretty much failed to stop what would become the Maw's undoing.
2. When we killed the Lady, the Twins lost their master.
3. When we killed the Guests, the Twins now have nobody to feed.
They will remain on the Maw to live out the rest of their sad and twisted lives, abandoned and without purpose. At least the brothers will still have each other.
little nightmares is one of my fav horror games (though its not much of "horror" game) its so well made and the story is well thought of I loved the fact that u let us see the highlights of the game (mostly the janitor, guests and the lady)

I think why the customers want 6 so much is because they want fresh meat. I have no idea how they're hungry when they already have so much children to eat, but they might think 6 is rare because she's so fast, getting past both the butchers and the long-armed guy. I'm guessing they're fighting over who gets to eat her depending on who catches her first and turns her in to the butchers.

The guests (fat guys) are cannibals. The chefs cook human meat from the children the janitor (long armed guy) is stealing. Eating human meat is cannibalism obviously. It can make you fat and very addicted to it as it can make you carnivorous. Six is obviously human meat so the guests are attracted to her through cannibalism.

aren't boss fights you're supposed to Kill the Boss, because the chef and the guest you don't kill you just Runaway
you are correct but they are a challenge around the end of one of the games chapters that forces use to use your skills that you have learned which is what boss battles are all about the might not really be boss battles but they are bosses.
The only bosses in this game are janitor and lady

Wait, I thought that there was only 4 SHORT boss battles, I thought the times where you had to sneak around the monsters is gameplay and that the last few moments you see them such as trying to chop off the janitors arms off with the door are the ACTUAL boss battles. That's just the way I see it though

A child that was born in China was bullied at school everyday because people blamed her for being ugly
The girl wanted revenge on how she looked so she snapped her neck open and died
Her soul was left in a abandoned ship where she was in control of everyone
Her creatures were ugly enough that she used them as servants and she called them "her peasants"
She demanded the long armed peasant for a request but he declined
So she forced him to but then he made a big mistake
She made his arm stretch long and blinded him with lights
The chefs were forced to make meat and they declined so she made them uglier
The guests were forced to feed the servants meat aka the guests meat that the chefs made
The guests were to fat to flex and move around and fell to the ground like pigs
Her plans were going well and her monsters of ( pun incoming ) *NIGHTMARES* were all tortured in her command and she loved her Chinese style to her boat on the inside and made eyes to watch around
Tiny people with mushroom hats started to appear in her boat which she wanted to be by herself all of her life so nobody can judge her and she forced everyone to get rid of them which they hid a lot in the boat
Over the years the soul grew stronger, so strong that she became a demon of the boat
Her weakness was mirrors and light because first she doesn't want to see her face and second she doesn't like light
So she found girls with raincoats and demanded her chefs to cook them
She was angry of the people on her boat so the only thing that made her happy was her monsters
A grave young girl was stolen to the boat and kidnapped
The girl needed to escape so she went through the monsters with here courage
She finally found the soul and battled with it and the little girl in the coat won
She was possessed by the spirit after she ate it instead of the sausage from her hunger
As the girl walked down the isle of the dying fat people because she took their souls and after that she was free
But............... the possessed girl had a new world to destroy in her hands
And the tiny mushroom people regretted what she was doing.....
The end
That's my though of story unless you have a better one
