    US is already loss much in this bilateral trade partnership, it doesn't have much left to lose. What ever retaliatory response from China is welcome, it is pointless continue to hang on a non 'win-win' trade relationship.

    Hey America is Great.Thank you Trump, your controversial trade war will soon benefits all other nation. I would expect better quality Chinese products complied to A.Standard to flood Asean market. Chinese steel, solar and electronics will be cheaper, American agro product will be more affordable. AU, NZ, UK and Europe will get more Cn students. Way to go America... Thank you America.

      Hai Ten. Many foreign company and brands were already in China. I have been making quite significant earning from China even though I don't read Chinese at all. I totally disagree your view view. have you tried to do business in China?

    • @h.t6641

      Eric Fang
      I really feel good for you"making quite significant earning from China"
      but it's not that good for the American people who are on the unemployment line.
      And I don't think America is asking too much...just fair trade and protect I.P...
      If China keeps his promise when he joined the WTO in 2001.
      I believe these two countries will get along very well!

    • @aerix12345
      @aerix12345 6 лет назад

      Hai Ten , If you look on simple metaphor. two company open trade.
      Company US, Trade short hour, low production, shortage of manpower, expensive overhead cost and offer to less than 10 items.
      Company CN. Trade long hour, high and fast production, lots of workers and technician, cheaper overhead cost and offers 10,000 more items.
      Obvious people will buy from cheaper source and offer varieties.
      Frankly America have less product to offer and cost way too expensive. Nothing much can change situation unless America play the chase.
      For fair trade, do you think is really fair? Japan bought tons of American rice stockpiling destined for waste, Japanese do not eat American rice. China bought sorghum, maze, and soy bean just to dump in local market even though previously are in surplus until farmers livelihood and income were threaten, mill were closed permanently to give way for American agro products.
      They get along well until Trump start to blame others when his administrative fail to successfully restore American's economics circumstance.
      Well Chinese and American's product is going somewhere and if both big brothers is not buying each others, third world country in Africa and Asia would benefits the most.. I am waiting the trade war to go full swing.... cheers

    • @h.t6641
      @h.t6641 6 лет назад

      Eric Fang
      If everything you said was true then the Company CN has nothing to worry about!
      let the war begin...
      But be fair, If Company CN can tax 25 percent of American cars, so why Company US cannot do the same to Chinese imported cars!

  • @Steven-xf8mz
    @Steven-xf8mz 6 лет назад

    China has already deployed currency devaluation, usd/cny has gone for 6.2s to 6.6s, meaning your 10% tariff is now irrelevant for imports. At the same same, Chinese tariff on American good is more expensive for Chinese buyers in addition to the exchange rate, it's like American import tariff is neutralized while Chinese tariff on US good is at a double rate. China can continuously hit only the red state on their tariff.

      +Daniel K: kind of, but not really mate, here is what i think: to China, US is replaceable; to US, China is irreplaceable.
      China can supply more to other countries and less to USA, no difference, which means, to China, USA is like cherry on the top, but to USA, if there is no one makes product for US and then where they are going to get stuff made?? made in USA gonna be about 5 to 10 times more expensive then made in China, do you think would US Companies still gonna stay in US? to me that is about survive
      again, no one can mess with his supplier and china is not only world biggest supplier but also biggest market as well, may i ask, how could you against ur only supplier and customer at the same time mate?

    Dont be stupid, china can beat US on the global market. US tarrift can only affect china export to US too little. China can do the same as US to put tarrift on US too. In a long run, US would have another new president. So, i expect more changes again, and again.

    • @hunniebe6

      Even Chinese Ministers admit they cannot win a trade confrontation with U.S. President Trump. America is self-sustaining, China is not.

      Melissa Slaughter hi, USA needs tones of resources from china daily. US exports about 1200 types of goods to china daily too. China still can fight USA in trade war by many means or choices. China economy is not depending on US market as it exports about 12%, and mostly raw materials, and household items to US. US government is earning, not suffering but its companies who are really suffered.

    • @chutony2134
      @chutony2134 6 лет назад +2

      Melissa Slaughter you're totally wrong. Let's wait and see. The game of 1.4 billion vs 320 million.

    • @susdeysun5944
      @susdeysun5944 6 лет назад

      Chu Tony hi, i want to laugh at you. China vs US trade reaches hundreds billion dollars each year. The problem is US has been losing too much to china and many others countries. US has spent on multiple war alone about 17 trillions dollars plus that amount is just tooooooo huge but US gains nothing from war. Then US started to blame china, and all?

    • @hunniebe6
      @hunniebe6 6 лет назад +1

      Hi Susdey Sun, The U.S. is a more balanced economy; we consume 80% of our own production. We are self-sustaining, China is not. China has built their economy on durable goods manufacturing not food production.The Chinese economy cannot survive without exporting durable goods. China cannot survive without importing food the population is too great. China has invested heavily in the U.S. market and have had a good run, but that is coming to an end.

    Very good info, but I am still not sure how Chinese can enforce squeezes only US companies without incurring large withdrawal of foreign investments. Also I do understand that china can manipulate their currency, yet manipulate currency can cause significant unintended consequence. Also Chinese economy has grown so much it would be very difficult to manipulate their currency. I do hope that they will settle something soon so we don't have to worry about it.

    • @taelee1113
      @taelee1113 6 лет назад +3

      I understand your points but do you really believe EU and Japanese can replace american companies? EU and Japanese are lot more protective than current american with trump. I do understand that trade deficit is flaw argument, but punishing american company will punish Chinese companies since most of US companies are in joint venture with china. Lastly I do believe Chinese intellectual theft is real, so I understand that US need to protect their interest. Just look at Chinese fighter J-20 which is almost identical copies of F-22.

    • @adoaTW
      @adoaTW 6 лет назад +3

      Taegil Lee Taegil Lee eu and japanese can't replace gm, ford, apple, p&g, kfc, starbucks, boeing? actually the europeans already has very strong present in chinese mkt. with more preferential treatments towards the europeans, they will easily replace us companies operating in china.
      as for jv issues, the structure of joint ventures varies case by case. many of them have been in name only for a long time. they operated and owned very much like wholly-owned subsidiaries of the american parents. as for losses, trade war causes everyone to lose. but dont expect china will back down this time because trump's demands are beyond reasonable. he basically demands china opening its mkt totally, while keeping the chinese out of the us mkt. at the time, he demands china killing its own economic restructuring efforts via china 2025.
      and how does j-20 look like f-22? american medias love to make baseless accusations regarding his rivals....nothing new at all...... j-20 is a specific type of fighter jet called canards aircraft. it has totally different aerodynamic and flight control from f-22. they are simply 2 different types of fighter jets all together. you can check the list of canards aircraft. j-20 and eurofighter are on the list. but f-22 is not. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_canard_aircraft
