The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner was played just once. At the opening date of the Somewhere on Tour in 1986 and after was never played. So yes it has been played but almost no one was able to listen to it. Alexander now has been played in a whole tour. The first time I've seen Maiden was back in 1998, and yes they've played The Angel and the Gambler... full version... such a bad moment...
I was awfully disappointed when the first setlist of the 2022 tour showed up since I already got my tickets for a show so far away from the country I live in. Hell on Earth wasn't there! And we all know they never change the setlist, even the order they're playing. Nvm I've been there and tried to enjoy the show, but tbh the shows are really becoming repetitive and getting boring. Steve has got the talent to produce such masterpieces even after so many years, I really don't understand why they're playing lame songs like Blood Brothers instead.
Like actually though! They need to steer away from the OG songs that everyone’s heard a thousand times! I’m sure the gig will still be great even if the trooper isn’t played 😂

I am from the future and I can say that a few from Senjutsu have gotten their time to shine, and they finally played Alexander The Great
I never understand why people dont like Gangland... Such a great and underated song with a great drum playthrough and dynamics.
Honestly I get what you mean but to me it always felt a bit “out of place” on the album
I think is cause it sounds more like a Killers song with Bruce voice. It sound very different from the rest of the album.
