For quests like carrying the crates, if you dismount and the get back on your horse while carrying the crates, you can gallop at full speed! I first learnt that trick about 6 years ago, it’s saved me precious time 🤣
The Selle Français bug fix made me disappointed too- the fast gallop was cute with the wiggle bum tho!!! Originally I wanted to get the flea bitten gray Selle Français, but I think I changed my mind😭😂
This can be a big problem with the community. I joined after the fuss about the Friesian Sport horse and I never understood why everyone was so upset. I fell for them as soon as I saw them and I still think they are some the best models in game. But the majority didn't like them and here we are. I really don't see why the wiggle had to go, it gave the horse personality. As for Scott, good to know he still has the Buttergood traits that made him so charming when we first met him. Scott is funny, but I still find him too much like his brother Junior and I get the feeling he hunts crypteds more to please his father than anything else. (I think he told his father about the yeti but his dad isn't interested in tangling with someone like that and wasn't pleased at having his time wasted.) His questionable acquisition of some of the horses, making those around Mooreland dislike him sets up a really interesting quest idea as well as giving him some more character. Finally, like you, I really want those werewolf accessories! The fangs, the eyes, the additional fluffiness! So cute!
OH IS THAT HIS DEAL WITH MOORLAND?? I was so confused LOL and you know what I totally see your point about him being too much like Junior. Junior was the only redeemable Buttergood during those quests. Scott was always set up to be a bad guy so the switch to helping him is a little weird to me, but maybe it's not outlandish. I love the idea of cryptids in SSO anyway so if they wanna have a "Scott is a good guy now" quest I'd be down
@@UrsulasRevenge To be fair, there's not been a quest regarding his taking horses from Mooreland so that's mostly speculation. But when we met him the second time, he wouldn't hand over the panicked injured horse he'd found (this was during the bunker quest line). Even when we confirmed he wasn't the owner we had to do a load of stuff to get him to agree to give the horse he was trying to steal back. The idea of him doing something similar in Mooreland makes sense given our previous interactions with him. ANd suggests Thomas might want to get a better security system installed. I can see the Buttergoods being a major new quest when we wrap up the Garnok story line. You've got the possible immortal father of the three Buttergoods working with GED who managed to unleash the chaos at Hillcrest. Junior who just seems to enjoy causing those weaker than himself pain. Scott who I get the feeling has no clue who he wants to be. He wants his Dad's approval and to take Junior down somehow but also wants to get away. Unfortunately, he's a bit hopeless at it. Then there's Robert Buttergood. A secret agent of C.H.I.L.L trying to do the right thing. I really want to know if he's the double agent. Remember that in the Herman quest? Where someone within C.H.I.L.L told GED you were about to perform a rescue? We never found out who that was. I think it's unlikely to be Robert but it would make a lot of sense if it was. Sometimes I wonder if the plan is to replace Justin Mooreland with Robert Buttergood as the "Help! I've been kidnapped/put in serious danger!" character the player has to rescue (again). If his father doesn't know about his actions or worse is controlling him somehow, he'll definitely need help. Plus, and I know this sounds harsh, he's got less character development than Justin and that seems to be a theme with the supposed good looking characters in the game. I really, really wish we could get some more general world building/getting to know the other NPCs around Jorvik. Can't we have, like, one quest with Justin which isn't focused on his family and just him as a person?
@@UrsulasRevenge I think it was him too. But I don't remember him being caught and C.H.I.L.L dealing with him. He's still hanging around New Hillcrest in my game so I need to unlock that part of the quest. I got to Ms X saying she would look into who the traitor was. 😄
LOL SAME BRAIN!! Odd how they're kinda brushing past that he's the bad guy in all these quests with him now imo. At first they were like "he's EVIL! look how CRAZY he is!" But now the quests with him are I guess getting away from that. If we're actually redeeming him, I'd like that in writing please and thank you lol
The witch hat you have is way newer (I have it and love it too, I think it looks the best) it goes with the witch outfit that matches the Halloween horse Duskgrim so it’s in the newer shop and not in global
The rest of the Duskgrim set is in the Vintage Shop. The set in the new shop is for Audra :) I had to double check, but Duskgrim and Songsorrow came out in 2021 🤯
Oh my god this scared me so much. When i heard they fixed something about the Selle i immediately went to ride my Selle because i wanted to see what's wrong myself first. Selle's are my absolute favorite horses and when people complained about their gallop when they released i was genuinely mad because can people stop telling sso to fix a horse after it's already released?? Like hello?? There are people who like it?? And if you don't just skip it?? There are so many breeds whose gallop i don't like yet i realize that there are people who do like it and i don't have the right to demand change. And only a few days ago i was thinking of getting every Selle once they get discounted and thought ''i really hope they don't change anything about them but it's been so long, why would they''. Boy oh boy are they full of surprises. But i gotta say that honestly i don't mind the change that much. It might be because i thought they changed the gallop COMPLETELY which would destroy me, but finding out it's only the bum wiggle made me sorta relieved. However i do feel for anyone who's disappointed by it. Sso NEEDS to stop touching horses that have already been released!
Completely agree! The new gallop ISNT BAD. But I loved the little butt wiggle so much and I'm sad it's gone. At the very least though, I can still see it a little bit in basic gallop, so maybe I'll take them on a slow trail ride when I'm feeling sad about it lol
@@UrsulasRevenge I totally get that. I personally found it really cute. But i'm mostly glad that the animation itself is still the same so i will learn how to live without the cute wiggle. It does make me wonder though why did people hate the Selle's wiggle so much, but i didn't see anyone complain about the Ardennes' wiggle? Or the new friesian's? Or the way the tail weirdly moves to the right side only when the Saddlebred fast gallops? Like i personally don't mind the wiggles (although the tail does bother me a little with the Saddlebreds), it's just weird how people only have this bias against the Selles.
Smh I feel like SSO should also see who LIKES certain animations instead of just looking at who's mad about it. I don't trust the "angry" fans of SSO to actually give crtique and valid feedback.
but also, you can see the animations in the buy window now. if you don't like a horses animations, DONT BUY IT. what about those of us who liked it and bought it and now have horses we don't 100% love anymore because of a change after the fact? I really would love to know the statistics around it. its not like it wasnt an intentional animation and its not like it was actually bugged. and its also not like they *TWEAKED* it a little. They changed it completely and gave it the same bob as all the other horses.

I'm french and loved the selle français wiggle butt, I am super sad and annoyed, when players buy a product, sso shouldn't change the product that has already been purchased;; They should take the wiggle butt criticism about people not liking it and appliying it to newer breeds, not the already existing one...
