- Finally getting my drone back up in the sky taking aerial videos and photos, my experience with the drone and if I think it's a worthy purchase. is it the best drone, is it the best for drone photography for the price?

I also noticed with my potensic atom 4k that some times the signal is very weak and breaks up, also the cameras focus wasn't to sharp after the update, and potensic response was it's particals in the air!!! I'm not in China with smog 😂😂😂 it was a perfectly clear day, so the jury's out on this one yes it's cheaper (just) but as with many Chinese products they use great hardware but their software really let's them down, that is why dji have the market Shere that they have, great hardware and great software it's an all around winner, great video love them,
Do look up the Carrington event. Solar weather to some degree can efect all radio signals even WIFI and we are currently at a solar high on the 11 year cycle - if your really interested look up Tamitha Skov or space weather woman on YT it's mainly for Aurora spotters / photographers, Amateur Radio people (Hams) and pilots and aviation crew and the power and GPS tracking industry

It's my first ever drone and I've done a few videos and uploaded them in different weather conditions and they got in touch and wanted some extra info. Good service if you ask me. They then gave feedback as well so nothing but props to them

Hi, thanks for finding the channel. It's my only ever drone but for what it can do and the price, it can't be beat. The videos it can take are brilliant, they way it fly's are great and it's stable. Really good, I recommend it for most people

The antennas must be vertical against the drone for max effect.
Ino, believe me I tried a lot of different angles and every time same result. I've watched several videos and there's do the same. So I think it can't fly as far as they say without the screen freezing. But it will still come home, so you won't lose your drone.

How long should a potensic Atom SE battery last, if I told you about 6 months what would you say, here in the UK I have a potensic Atom SE battery that is about six months old, although hardly used and in brand new condition, not holding a charge, explained everything to potensic after sales service support team, what do you think they said, they agree the battery is at fault, because they told me that I needed a new battery, but then tell me I can BUY a new battery from potensic with a small discount offered, WOW??? Is that the right word.??

That’s why I love DJI no matter how cold or hot it has never made a difference the dependability is next to nobody. DJI definitely does a great job. It’s worth to pay a little more.
You might be right, but bang for buck as my first ever drone I couldn't fault it in all honesty. Under the same circumstances as I haven't had a DJI i couldn't say if it will happen or not. But I think I'm the only one that has reported that with my Atom so maybe it is just my unit? Who knows.
@@JustStephen89 I had many drones before I bought a DJI and I understand that. The potensic is still a great drone for the price. Way better than holy Stone drones and all the Walmart copy drone’s. If possible try a DJI and you won’t be disappointed.happy drone flying 👍😃
DJI has their sights set on bigger fish. Until you try one of these, please back off. Ten times the price is not "a little more". I have no desire to support the inefficiencies inherent in that business model. But governments around the world sure are. Soon, our hobby might be forbidden. Bought out by political fans of Kamikaze Robots. I have two Potensic Atoms. They are, properly used, phenomenal, wonderful gadgets, at a modern price.
Do you have to orientate the drone before take off
Every now and again but not always. Sometimes in new locations or if you haven't used it for a while, hope that helps
You are not permitted to fly beyond VLOS, so that's not a drone fault, it's pilot error. The drone is more that capable of flying at far more than VLOS.
I understand I'm not allowed to fly beyond vlos. It's not pilot error however. The drone does freeze that's not pilot error.

I'm a bit confused with this comment, I agree with you the Potensic atom is a great drone. I've just not had the opportunity to use a DJI so I cannot compare them really. But my limited knowledge of the Potensic I'm more than happy. Really enjoy using it.
Horrible drone. My brother bought one and it keeps cutting out while my DJI mini 2 se flys like a champ!!
How does it cut out? When it's flying? My screen freezes when it's too far away but if you press return to home it comes back into range, not ideal but it does come back. I think for beginners it's fine because you shouldn't fly to far away and l anyway but I see you point
