Sawada really does become like his little sister and I love that so much. And I don’t think she is uncomfortable around guys because she is a lesbian or queer, is very implied is because she lost her brother her connection with other guys is weird. Which is why its so sweet she starts getting comfortable around Miya and feels safe with him.

I haven't watched this show but I heard about it & seen some pictures. I'm still retired from high school romance anime unless it has an interesting premise or it has a relatable aspect.
Jade no!! You’re missing out this is honestly one of the best romcoms I’ve seen. The progression feels so natural and isn’t like kaguya sama where you have this ego match of “I won’t admit I like you when I clearly do”.

I'm glad you brought up rom-com high school anime that actually progresses the relationship in a natural fashion. I checked my MAL list & I haven't watched one of those. Too bad Horimiya came out after I retired! I saw a female reactor say that Hori wasn't that great, but Miyamura was the best thing about the anime. How do you feel about her?
This is the Romcom for those who hate Romcoms because of all of the Bullshit. This anime cuts the bullshit and leaves only the meat. And delicious meat it is, indeed.

So the "Candy Steal" move happened After this conversation, no one seems to know why the scenes were flipped beside it being an accident (from what I've seen of other comments).
