Absolutely beautiful voice and amazing performance!!! While listening to this performance, I just remembered legendary Maria Callas. So many similarities in their voices. Wish Aziza all the best! You are our pride!
I totally agree with you. I couldn't find any better version than this. Aziza is increadible! However, I've been looking for this version's lyrics, it's different from others but, couldn't find anywhere.
The nightingale sings to the rose By day and night his song of love; In silence to the song, she harkens. So on his lyre, the minstrel plays, And singing, woos the timid maid Who shyly listens, all unknowing For whom he sings, nor why so sad So fraught with pain, his yearning song.

Does anyone know this version's lyrics? I couldn't find anywhere.
The nightingale sings to the rose
By day and night his song of love;
In silence to the song, she harkens.
So on his lyre, the minstrel plays,
And singing, woos the timid maid
Who shyly listens, all unknowing
For whom he sings, nor why so sad
So fraught with pain, his yearning song.
