I've meaning to ask this.. Are the Fanalis based on Spartans? (not the Halo ones) their armor abnormal strength/agility and fighting styles feel very reminescent to Either Spartans or Romans..
In my opinion I’d definitely see them that way, Magi is based off of the story “Arabian Nights” so you’ll find whatever they’re referenced to if you’ve either read it yourself or potentially google it. Obviously I didn’t create magi so I won’t know the actual answer but I’d say it’s a solid shout!

Technically they’re based off of North Africans and we were originally going to be black , they’re based off of Berber people to be exact
