you're missing the best gank mechanic ever dude... activate your R right before swapping into E when you're close to enemies... you basically run it down -> E -> R -> E. You will get the timing right super quickly and once you do that, you will start slowing them before getting in E range. Which makes ganks a 1000x more smooth erspecially vs champs with lots of disengage tools or speed roids
Make sure you are using autos before empowered abilities BUT ESPECIALLY AFTER USING IT. Your empowered autos do massive damage and is the bulk of your kit. That includes empowered R

I assume you’re asking how to use his passive and empower his abilities. You just double click the ability you want to be empowered once your passive is up and once you’ve used an ability your next 2 auto attacks lower the cool down of your passive which is why he starts Q since it increases your attack speed and does bookoo damage. So empowered Q does the little lightning barrage and increases attack speed allowing you to get off 2 - 3 quick auto attacks off and putting your passive on lower cool down. Empowered E allows you to charge through most forms of CC, W gives you a bunch of healing and a shield, and R allows you to essentially throw your snow storm like a victor ult.
