- If war ever reaches the American home front, most people might expect to hear an air raid siren. But what they may actually hear is silence, when many of the things they rely upon each day stop working.
The Commission on the National Defense Strategy recently warned senators the United States is "unprepared" for a "devastating" cyber war that will bring life in towns and cities across America to a standstill.
Former Congresswoman Jane Harman, Co-Chair of the Commission on the National Defense Strategy told senators, "The public is essentially clueless about the massive cyber-attacks that could be launched any day by our adversaries. Not just nation states but rogue actors as well."

Honestly feel like it’s already here, in January some of our phones were not working, the airport situation that just happened, the social security situation that just happened. So many signs. Our food is constantly in recall like never before. Water, meats and other things.

I have often wondered why are these systems online to begin with. There is no need to have our critical infrastructure on the same internet as everyone else. A closed network or just off line in general.
That's not a barrier. The US and Israel hacked Iran's nuclear program which was completely off grid. They created a virus that a techy plugged in that gently powered up and powered down centrefuges without them knowing, doing a lot of damage for years.
When the internet goes down we will be 100 years in the past instantly.
Probably more like several thousand because we have lost the ability to even make simple tools. Example, how to mine metals to make into tools.
Then we'll tar and feather leaders again like centuries ago....

What about non-grid controls over water plants? What about quality generators for hospitals, etc? What about social stressors when there is no money for welfare recipients? What about dehydrated food supplies?
How about copper land lines & ham radio operations?
Much needs to be done to prevent catastrophic starvation, dehydration, disease, social panic & chaos!
We spend 9 hours a day at work doing mundane tasks at this point a little bit of time should be dedicated to teaching us survival skills because whether it's an attack or solar flares it's coming 1 way or another

Many dealerships install their own gps ignition interrupters . Some automakers have them built in from the factory.
They have no means to be controlled remotely. The company can’t drive your car for you. Yes they are self-driving, but the computer to do that is within the car. On the other hand, in a pinch the battery can be used to power your home.
If American politicians stop arguing with each other and understand what's really important, protecting the United States, this could be preventable.

Why do we have to have our most critical utilities and infrastructure accessible to foreign hackers over the internet? 50 years ago we never had to worry about someone silently sitting at a keyboard in front of a screen in a foreign country overseas messing with our water treatment stations, control systems to major dams or our power plants. Now with the advance of technology going to far combined the laziness of mankind , I guess that is something we are going to have to deal with because I bet there is no back up plan of going back to the manual ways society once operated and maintained these things.
Pen, pencils, log books, steel toed boots, hard hats, Walkie Talkies, little golf cart type vehicles to move workers around a large plant. You don't see "as much" of that as you used to because a lot of it is ran by computers through the internet.
I am not saying disregard the way things are now and go back to the old ways, but there should always be a way to manually override the hacker and computerized operations at the job site to be able to fall back to the older manual operations in an emergency situation.
We had basic necessities for decades before the internet with no risk of being interrupted I say we go back and keep everything manual

Salvation is so simple, even a child can understand it. It is simply believing with your whole heart that Jesus’ Sacrifice on Calvary was the total and complete payment for your sin. Plus nothing, minus nothing. Jesus will take you just as you are, sin and all. He came for sinners. You don’t have to change because He will change you.
Hebrews 2:3 “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;”
So really, what have you got to lose?
Faith without works is dead. There remains no more sacrifice for sins if we go on willfully sinning after coming to the knowledge of the truth. Jesus said abide or wither up. So, if you're still in sin and doing nothing for the Lord then you're luke-warm at best and you will be spat out.
@@robertboutin6232 Read the very first verse of James where you got “Faith without works is dead”. Who does it say that the Book of James is written to? And no, they are not Christian. It’s not the Body of Christ. The verse “there is no more sacrifice for sins” is found in Hebrews 10:26 and this was written to Hebrew Christians that were saved and thought that once they sinned they had to go back to the temple to sacrifice for their sin. However, if you had read Hebrews 10:12 “But this man, after he had offered ONE sacrifice for sins FOR EVER, sat down on the right hand of God;”, you would know that they in fact didn’t have to go back to the temple because Jesus was the one final Sacrifice that covered all of their sins forever. My Friend, you have to read God’s Word in context. If you believe any different than this you are not saved. 1 Corinthians 2:14 “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
