@Jesus Christ indeed, that he has played country in his time or something similar, does not mean that this album is, although there may be influences and some breeze that reminds country, but fuck that happens in all musical styles.
1st- I never said it was a country album or that Simpson was locked in some kind of stylistic box. I was actually implying the opposite. 2nd- its a fact that he has been a country artist most of his career. While this album is more rock and roll than his usual, his country music influence is all over this album, particularly in his singing style.
