On the Welcome to Monero menu among the set up options it says "create new hardware wallet". But no option for restore wallet that was previously set up with a hardware? How would you restore a hardware wallet using the GUI?
This is great but if you ever make a new version you should include the antivirus shenanigans that many have to go trough to install Monero GUI wallet. Had to disable the thing to download and then whitelist the directory of the wallet.
same here. (For other users struggling:) Monero GUI did not open/load as it was blocked by Microsoft Defender. After allowing the files it was bitching about, it ran and opened. Greetz!
@@jeanpierre6617 I don’t think so, I couldn’t find mine with the monero wallet. But I think the whole idea behind it is that you don’t need one since you have a ledger. You need to have your ledger to access the keys anyway, so if you lose your ledger and have the seed phrase it won’t work

Is the monero amount also visable in the ledger live app on deskop/smartphone? Or only on the monero Gui?
I don't understand why it shows the wallet's location as your C drive? I thought the Nano was offline storage? I'm a noob.

How do you view the seed phrase associated to your Monero account ?
It is automatically stored within your ledger nano, you can’t view it. You need to plug your ledger into your pc

check on the xmr blockchain with your hash id ( kinda acts like a receipt)
