i love how a bunch of fast-to-say guys state that kaz betrayed snake like 2 years ago then mgs phantom pain came out and all you realized who was trully behind that nuclear inspection back at msf and how loyal kaz was to skane.
Well, Kaz was loyal to Big Boss until he realized that BB left him to create Outer Heaven. After that, Kaz had no choice but be loyal to Venom Snake. "Big Boss can go to hell"
Sam Garza skane is another doppelganger of big boss....he never on screen..but his combat abilities is so efficient... that people say he might surpassed metal gear
Short of, miller actually sold big boss to cipher (zero) in MGPW to fund the MSF (in the ground zero events and the Chipre hospital was thanks to zero), also he took the MSF and converted into a very profitable business of war economy, that the big boss wasn't intended to do, he wanted a nation to be free from anyone and country, so miller was untrustworthy, only ocelot remained 100% loyal no matter what, they shared similar or same vision,
When I listen to this now I think of Paz in Ground Zeroes. They were enemies but in those final moments where Boss had her whimpering on his back and she tried to spare him by jumping off the chopper even though she knew she was about to blow up. It was definitely a bittersweet end for their complicated relationship. It would have been interesting to know what would have become of them both had she survived, and whether they could have formed a similar friendship.

I like what metal gear does. It has this thing that was isn’t a reason to end friendships even though they’re trying to kill each other it’s not because they want to. At the end of the day they’re just soldiers doing their jobs. It’s like solid snake and frank jaeger, or big boss and ocelot. Or big boss and miller.
What I'm wondering is, considering his lust for revenge toward Skull Face later on, why didn't Kaz hold a grudge against Snake for wiping out his older unit? Sure he saved his life but from Kaz's point of view that could have been a worse insult.
Probably because, unlike Skull Face, BB beat him fair and square and showed himself to be a decent person afterwards - Skull Face was just a scumbag. Besides, it was also the fact that Skull Face was working for Cypher and Kaz worked with Cypher for a time. Besides, his unit was essentially folk he had a professional relationship with - MSF was family.

I hope they end up explaining in The Phantom Pain as to why Kaz thinks in MG2 all of a sudden that Big Boss now is a monster. What will Big Boss do that Kaz says like fuck you and leaves MSF?
From the trailers we have seen, in example in the one where Quiet jumped out of the helicopter onto Mother Base, we saw that Miller and Snake seem to not 100% agree on everything anymore. It even seems like Miller doesn't obey Snake anymore, but wants to be a leader himself. He seems to be even more vengeance seeking than Snake in my eyes.
