I have this device but cannot move the unlock handle forwards or back at all. Does it come locked by those two screws at factory that need to be unlocked before using it the first time? It does seem so but my handle doesn't budge at all.

I was wondering the same thing. You just have to muscle it. I assume when it's been more heavily used it might get easier.

Can I use it for a main drain line?

I suppose you could but I seem to recall the largest sized cable it is designed for is 3/8, which might not be effective for a main line. This tool seems to really shine for sinks and tubs

Is that an attachment? If it’s just a tool than that is an absolute ridiculous marketing mind trick.

Not an attachment. The whole thing is the tool.

Rather loose with the terminology, like "go crazy" is not very definitive.
    Interesting review, but not great.
