They are REALLY popular internationally (especially in the Americas), much more than most groups who are popular in Korea. This just doesn't reflect very well on the Korean side of things in sales and shows (which is part of why they have no wins :( ). Their popularity is just more overseas than it is in Korea. I don't think their popularity will really rise in Korea simply due to the trends and thinking patterns there. They have gained more recognition there in the last year for sure, don't get me wrong! But mixed groups are never as popular in Korea and KARD's sound is not really 'mainstream' for kpop, and this is unfortunate but I don't think this is something that will change quickly.

Lip syncing means that they don't sing anything at all, their mics are off and they just mimic the song without doing anything Back vocals is when they just don't sing some parts because of the rough dancing so they can take a breath *usually highnotes or some fast rap verses* which is totally normal for a dancing group

It kinda keeps changing every comeback tbh. KARD members are all rounders, we won't know who'd go all out dancing in the next comeback or grab the most attention while performing. Definitely all are visual gods! Three of them spit fire rapping, all are Great vocalist. It's just J.seph and Somin for me with fixed positions, main rapper and main vocal. And even that has changed, cause Jiwoo had taken the main rapper position in earlier combacks. And she also has the potential of main vocal. BM for sure is the face of the group though. I mean most well known, composes their music, breathtaking on stage, kinda brings the group together. It's really hard labeling KARD with positions. I am a Multistan but KARD's the only one where I can't decide who's the main or center! They all are so bloody Good! It's my opinion though.

as a vocal coach Somin is one of the most talented kpop singers I've seen! She sings just like the studio version which is really hard specially sitting down to be able to hit the high notes and she does it effortlessly its really refreshing and cool to see an artist that sings just like studio version! I love them! Shoutout to BM bopping his head the whole time, you can tell he loves this song. Also need to point out, J.seph was wearing his mask in the beginning, but in his part @1:22 he was like “forget this mask , I’m going all off and it’s my time to shine” and you can’t lie that rap is fire 🔥, I mean look at all the members, they were bopping in his part as well.

Because their company DSP is trash. They don't promote them domestically at all.
