You should keep a running P&L statement for your consolidated earnings, so it's more accurate to see how much passive income you are making. For example, you have Etsy listings and they charge $0.2 per listing, Midjourney, Canva subscriptions, etc. and then show us a consolidated excel sheet to see if you are in the red or black overall and what your plans would be to grow more. I think that will help a lot of young people trying to understand how a P&L would work and realistically how much they would be making AFTER fees
I do have a sheet of my income and expenses, but it’s really not much of a difference. For Etsy I don’t pay for any listings because I have free ones to use currently, so Etsy is costing me $0 right now. It’s just the typical fees when you get paid out so I usually get around $2 a sale.
I only have Canva which is $12.99 a month.
That’s it. I know some people have a lot more monthly expenses, but that’s all I have right now. Of course I’ve bought some courses and other tools that are one time fees, but I’m still in profit after that.
I know I’ve mentioned this in previous videos, but I can work on adding something into each video so it’s more accurate to profit.

My sales are also less this month. Infact first time since i started kdp. I think kdp is becoming more and more competitive especially some niches. I thinking of starting another fresh research on other less competitive niches and see what happens. Thanks for sharing.

No. The paid tools are optional!

The cool thing is you don’t have to buy any if you don’t want to. I’ve already sold multiple and people have requested them, totally fine if you’re not interested. Doesn’t cost anything to be nice.
