I think I learn more about HoTS watching you play Illidan, given how difficult he is to play successfully.

Hey Fan if you see this, would you be willing to rally the HOTS community to have blizzard "hand over" HOTS to us? Meaning im very sure the HOTS community has several modders and game designers that could keep the game new and fresh. Or even if we as a community could fund raise money to pay developers to give us new content within the game. Ive done a poor job at explaining this but i think you could really revive this game. or at the very least have it become a sort of warcraft 3. I truly believe we as a community could achieve this. Maybe you dont want to because of the lack of insentive but i think if you spearheaded the revival of a game, you'd definitely see a huge return. Regardless, you are a great gammer and i always love the vids. Thanks for it all man :)

And where would you get the money to keep the servers going? Probably costs thousands of dollars each day for each region. Not even talking about burocratic situations and many other situations. You must be young to even make such question

@@rafael6693 its almost like you didnt read the comment. i suggested crowd funding. i know the hots community is still large and very willing to pay for content. People still donate to in house tournaments.

I posed a similar question in stream a few days ago. I proposed having access to a HOTS editor behind a paywall.
Consider your question and how you fit within the system? What do you really want to happen? Do you see a massive corporation just handing over an asset?
You could put a value on your project then ask VCs. Start a go Fund Me that has a goal, and maybe Fan will promote it. Pare down your idea until it's more tangible.
      But consider...
Fan is an all around champion and The Side Step King, but i assume he doesn't have pull at the corporate level on a game in maintenance mode.
But, if you are good enough, the doors will open. Be sure to be patient and kind. Don't attack the critics because you'll probably fail. And that's OK. If you wanted to try and did, great!
However, I'm sure we can all agree, what you are proposing is great in theroy, but there is no incentive to do it, except for hope.
I hope you are enjoying the Critical Mass Series I put together with the massive help of Fan, Porky and Kure. I'll be sharing the outcome of the 2 week test pilot. If you are serious about doing something. I'd be down to read a proposal.
      HOTS best MOBA

@@panbaiye there is no incentive because blizzard was making no money even when the game was at it’s pick. Unfortunately it is fighting against other mobas which probably gather more money in a month then Hots in his 7/8 years. Specially now when many players, and pro players also, left the game since the end of HCG in 2018. When blizzard made that announcement in 2020 or 2021 that they weren’t going to make any updates or bringing new heroes into the game, only making maintenance, what they were saying is that they are pretty much putting the game into the a life support machine without saying.

Blizzard would never hand the game over, they don't gain anything from losing the IP. Like most companies they'd prefer to vault it until the time they can eventually wring one more dollar out of it
