  • From adversity comes great wisdom.
As My Hometown Heroes continues to evolve, so does the depth of our programs. At the end of 2020 it was decided that MHH scholarship candidates will have an opportunity to intern for the foundation for at least one semester, instead of just local journalism students.
Aidan McSwiggan is a past MHH recipient and speaker from our inaugural MHH Survivor Summit in 2020. He is the first to take on this position and one of his projects was to interview 3 MHH scholarship candidates or recipients to create a video on mental health. This RUclips video is a result of his hard work.
We are honored and grateful to share 3 Perspectives on Mental Health from college bound cancer survivors Jenny Logan, Caleb Etter, and Molly Oldham.
    Awesome stuff!
