G-d was about to make good on His promises to the Patriarchs through their descendants. He was to deliver and save them from Egypt (and deliverance and salvations have far, far different meanings in the Tanakh than what xians make the words to mean). That being said, so many people are OBSESSED with the "Names" of G-d they forget what G-d said about what should be DONE. "To do justice, love loving kindness and walk circumspectly/discretely with your G-d"
