    Very enlightening session
I enjoyed every bit of it. That's why the Chinese build all Thier tech in Chinese
That does not make them illiterate.

This is fascinating, but the problem with our forefathers is that only a few of them wrote books and kept those books secret, and leaders back then did not force people to educate themselves with such knowledge because westerners wrote books and forced their education on us, and we began worshiping them.
Yoruba culture requires restructuring and new ideas to contribute to the culture. Some of our orisha appear frightening if we can restructure it all, but we don't always want to restructure and call it Ishese.

We will say our orisa appear frightening, and then go worship a God who killed every innocent first born child in Egypt simply because he dlhad a disagreement with the Pharaoh...hmmm

Having studied the words 'knowledge' and 'wisdom' in the Bible, with references to their Hebrew/Greek etimology, I find everything Dr Adegbola has said is consistent with what the Bible says. The differences are in the terminologies used. The whole body of knowledge called 'Ifa' is described as 'Gnosis' in the Greek manuscript of the Bible. All branches of science and technology, including philosophy emanate from gnosis. But we Christians believe gnosis is situated in Christ (See Colossians 2:2-3).
'Ofo,' known as incantation is similar to confession in Christianity (homologia in Greek). This doesn't mean confession of sins, but an oral recitation of belief or faith, a vocalisation of what you believe in your heart and expect in reality (See Romans 10:9).

According Anthropology, Theosophy, and oral histories, the Yorubas are the first human Root Race that overlapped the late Lemuria and early Atlantis (3rd and 4th) Root Races. The first Atlantean sub-race is called RMOAHAL which is an anglicized corruption of the name/word ORUNMILA. We the Yorubas are the first sub-race of Atlantis which is way older than the 5th, Aryan, Root Race of the current White race called Indo-Europeans including Arabs and Indians. The Yorubas began the black world. The antediluvian world a.k.a Atlantis a.k.a the Biblical period between Genesis and Noah's Flood belongs to the black race. The Book of Genesis is about the prehistory of the world before the Aryan Race came to existence. In the original Hebrew Bible, the word Elohim means gods (plural) not a God. It was the Romans and the English that mistranslated Elohim from plural gods and goddesses to a singular male God. The singular form of Elohim is El (a god) and one of these Elohim can be traced to the Yoruba' Ela deity of Orunmila which is known as the Spirit of Light and Manifestation that made all things came into existence here on earth. The Ela deity can also be summarized as the Holy Spirit of Ifa, and he is often referred to as supreme heir of Agbonmiregun.
