Rode it last weekend for the first time, definitely not the last!!! Great area, plenty of varied trails for all abilities. Up lift available, bike hire available including e bikes, shop, cafe, toilets. It really is a great day out for you and your friends and family if you like to MTB. If you sit at home watching telly, maybe not so....
Send it!!! Such a good trail there! It would be cool if I could see picture-in-picture of the suspensions and rider face for reactions to all the bumps and jumps!
Another brilliant video. Love your opinions on how the different bikes feel and clear footage and descriptions of the various trails. You should contact local TV and see if they would do an article re motivating more women into the sport at a grass root level. You would be brilliant. Keep up the good work.
Or just be a real chad, f#ck the sponsors and get a 2020 kenevo. I have a 2019 levo and a 2020 kenevo, both amazing bikes and both so very different from each other. My old yamaha haibike was sold within days of getting my kenevo. Yes, I am a spesh fan boy, since 1988 too 🤣
Couple of Amazing trails there Kara and impressive speed to match, was wondering, what helps you maintain speed through the trails? Thanks for sharing 😁
Try and ride 'smooth and clean'' rather than fast. The speed will follow naturally. Exactly the same principle as learning to play a musical instrument.
4:05 What are you doing Kara???? I thought you were a real mountain biker and enjoyed the first part of your video. But I have stopped watching when I saw that you were being pulled up. But thank goodness, you were not riding your motor-bike up! :) But - Thank you Kara for sharing.
I don't understand these 'e bikers are not proper mountain bikers' comments. Before I discovered e bikes, I would go to the FOD after work, pedal to the top of verders, do one descent of a tech downhill trail, and then go home. Now I have e bikes I can go to the fod at 5pm and do anywhere between 5 and 8 downhill runs before dinner. I have become a much better rider because of this. If your passion is descending then why would you not want a bike with uplift shuttle built in? Every hater I've encountered has been instantly converted after one go on one of my e bikes. They are the best invention of the last decade.
@@kriso4447 I am 69yrs and my friend is 68yrs and we are lovers of the natural woods. Last week, before our Oregon Fires, we embarked on a 6 hour 25 miles climb (and crazy rampage down) up a 2000ft peak. Near the top I heard the hum of gears and a (younger than us) guy who was really pumping zoomed by us - obviously an e-(motor)bike. Very disturbing to us who were laboring up (and enjoying it) but having to jump out of the way! I know this is just one guy, but this is my general experience. I also must add that walkers can resent us bikers and the horseriders as well. I guess I cannot be considered a purist since I am clothed on a mechanical gadget/bike, but I am not a "hater" however, like most, I do like things the way I like them. 😊
I agree totally. If I owned a trail centre I would make gloves compulsory. Hand injuries are excruciatingly painful and if its your dominant hand then life gets really difficult. Even wiping your ass is a struggle lol. I recently forgot my gloves but thought f%ck it, I'm at my local trail centre (FOD) and I'm riding trails ive ridden 100 times. Well I crashed at the very bottom of launchpad and my right palm was skinned by the gravel. As a 44 year old 6ft tall 15 stone bloke, I actually struggled to not cry. Riding without gloves is absolute insanity.
Bell Super DH. Its a full face but the chin piece is removable. Saved my life after a high speed head first collision with a large tree. I bought another one and kept the dented one as a souvenir.
Swear down she got like 10 bikes I’ve got a 100mm XX hardtail with a rear wheel that hits the front derailleur and a basically slick tyre and black trails are still fun she should try it but different from the DH rig 😂😂
Yes karaaa!!!! Cant believe matt jones gf just uploaded a mtb vid😂 anyone exited for audi nines?!!!

Kara Beal no problem 🤙
You should ask haibike for one of their e-downhill bikes which are a downhill bike with a built in uplift! Sam would say they are the dream!!!😂😂
That would be amazing!

Any reccomendations on a helmet

You should try Y2K, it's great for progression
Will you get a downhill bike or you prefer your trail bike?
Flying lass
You're really going well now Kara. My only negative is the constant use of the word 'sick' to describe things
Thank you! Haha sorry!
@@KaraBeal keep it up its sick! haha
The forks look far too firm you have next to no travel
