My friend I’ve known for half my life has it and he literally says, “when you’re absolutely focusing, you don’t tic that much. at least in my case.” He works on frikkin ladders to fix power lines and shxt. He showed us his raw ticks in which he jolts his head back and his arm wiggles and when he’s suppressing the ticks, the ticks are that he rolls his arm against his legs. He’s been on TV and radio lots of times and in all those years on the air, no one noticed any tick at all.

i think that she faked the disorder bc growing up the rest of her family got lots of attention and pity from other ppl (bc they had tourettes as emeralds sister clarified) so emerald felt kind of overlooked as the rest of her family was treated special and pitied.
If I had someone packing burritos like that, i dont care if they have tourettes they're fired. most im helping them with is getting another job where her tourettes wont matter.

in my school there's a lunch lady that I think has tourettes because they occasionally moved their head with a twitch kinda movement
