Watching a fellow parent hear their autistic kid say mommy or daddy for the first time is so damn wholesome. As soon as our kid starting talking, he hasnt stopped! It’s been awesome!
My son was the same, it was rare to hear him say words. When he was 5 we moved and he transferred schools he started talking and has not stopped. He is 9 now, and is top of his class he will be in the 4th grade next year.
Jameson saying "Mommy" brought me to tears. My son, now 11, didn't call me "Momma" until he was 4 1/2. How beautiful and amazing. So happy for Jameson's growth!! ❤
The look on Gloria's face when Jameson said mommy was priceless. I remember when my boys said mommy for the first time. Brought back a nice memory for me. Don't give up Brandon. dada isn't far off. Once mommy comes out dada is next.
There is nothing like the moment your special needs kid finally says "mommy"! Mine was 5 years old when he said it, it was the most incredible thing i have ever heard! Good job Jameson!! We are all so proud of you!
My son is autistic and I didnt hear mummy until he was 3 and a half. The joy on glorias face matched my own. Although I also ugly cried straight after 😂
What a good baby Jameson is, & smart!! He says "mommy" so well & he is completely adorable!!! Dad's lil helper 🥰 congratulations Brandon on having such adorable children 😉
Ahhh! I'm so proud of him! As a CBT who works with autistic kids, my heart dies of so much happiness when these kids do something for the first time 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Is there nothing better than a baby's laugh or hearing your child call you mommy or daddy for the first time? Oh I really needed this today. I'm missing my dad so much. Now I'm crying. But they're mostly happy tears.
“Daddy” is next! That will be a super special day for you!! I have two nephews with autism so I understand how these milestones feel. My youngest nephew only wanted mommy when he was little and I just wanted him to play with me and like me and when it finally happened I was so excited. Now we are best buddies.
I love getting to see the BTS with you and your family. I've been watching for many years, since you were cooking in your moms kitchen. It's so amazing to watch you with your family. So proud of Jameson!👏❤
I didn't speak at all till I was nearly four. It was just how my brain formed, i spent more time taking in what was around me and sort of speaking to myself than I did addressing everything. I basically only said two words, baba and uppy. Baba for my baby blanket, and uppy for when I wanted to be held.
This is my favorite video so far. With an autistic son myself it warms my soul to see you all with such a happy boy. I love how you explain rough times like eating. 🤦♀️ my son is high functioning and also has so many eating quarks. He HATES tags. 😂 they’re all so different and beautiful. Good luck to you and your wonderful family through to good and the bad, the easy and the hard, the happy and the sad.
My son LOVED tags when he was little!! My mom removed tags from towels and stuff and sewed them onto one of his blankets. It was a self-soothing thing for him. We still have it!
🎉Omgosh so many happy tears! I love that he said Mommy for the first time and that you got it on camera. To me, that would be worth all the work you put into doing daily vlogs. Thanks so much for sharing with us
Omgsh 😊 how precious is the sound of Jameson voice ❤ love it ❤ ive followed brandon and gloria maria for awhile now. My favorite RUclips famib❤ love y'all Brandon ❤
From a fellow autistic kid to you, you're doing really great with Jameson. Both of you. It's really difficult for everyone including him sometimes but you and Gloria are amazing parents. Thank you for setting such an awesome example for other parents with autistic kids. It's really hard when you don't have a good support system like the one you're giving him.
I had a friend with a child that I later found out was autistic. His mom was worried about his speach. Everytime I was at their house I would just sit and play with him. I'd hear gasaur for dinasour and a few other things. Until one day he looked so proud of himself and whispered "maganet" and pointed at a magnet on the fridge. He's in there thinking. You'll be proud of everything he does and says. ❤❤❤ for both of you and mister Jameson.
I look forward to these videos sooo much. Thank you, for showing us your life and your family. I use these videos to decompress after my stressful job, and it’s so calming for some reason haha
The sweetest Mommy!! Awww!!! He is so very cute! My daughter is a very picky eater and even worse when it comes to trying new foods. She loves ramen noodles though and apples and grapes.
@@crysgauthier6797isn’t it so interesting just how differently ASD can affect every individual? Tags don’t bother me, but if the collar of my shirt is too close to my neck, all hell breaks loose. Lol i have tons of shirts with the most awful looking V-necks lmao
Brandon is probably the coolest dad I think I've ever seen in my life. Both of your kids are lucky to have you XD Watching these BTS vids are always so precious!
My daughter has AFRID, I wish she was ate more things. Otherwise she is the most amazing person, artist, and I know that her Autism is part of what makes her, her. She's 13 now and just such an amazing young woman.
I have been watching you since 2020 and I want to thank you for making me laugh and smile. My grandma passed away about a year ago and high school isn’t ever fun and when I have a bad day I just watch you, never stop. 💜
When I was younger I was so obsessed with tags, I loved the feel of them on my nose, my grandma made me a blanket out of tags and I had it with me until it quite literally fell apart. So great! Love the bts your such good parents! Don’t ever be hard on yourself… I know what you’re going through from my own son and you’re doing amazing
My cousin just turned 3, and she’s also autistic and very speech delayed. She also looks a lot younger than a 3 year old. Hearing a baby who’s autistic and speech impaired always makes me so happy. How sweet! “Mommy.” I got teary-eyed. ☺️
Me too

My boy was the same. Non verbal till 5 now he's a chatter bug. Mainly about powerpoles
LMAO

Oddly enough, my first word was mama but my next was Daisy (my dog at the time). I had some priorities.

My autistic bubba didn't call me mummy till he was 4, so worth the wait and even now at 20 when he says mum still gets me ❤
My son is autistic and I didnt hear mummy until he was 3 and a half. The joy on glorias face matched my own. Although I also ugly cried straight after 😂
