Thank you for sharing, I've got to make one now! I've been looking for what seems forever, but the store bought racks cost a pretty penny & never quite seem to fit the bill. Of course now with the cost of everything, a spice rack might be another mortgage! LOL! Thanks again for sharing! 🕊️🙏❤️🕯️
We are FINALLY moving (not into our dream home that we are building, but at least out of the City and near where we will build... some day). I had to come back and find this video bc the kitchen is small and I know that the very FIRST project on my to-do list will be building your fabulous spice rack 🥰
Absolutely fantastic video! I’ve been looking high and low for something like this for my huge collection. Thank You so much for breaking it down and being easy to understand. xxx
I like this very much. Maybe next house we'll have a spot for 1 & can make it. (I also have all matching jars in alphabetical order. 😊 I alphabetize everything.)
New sub . Those screws look like deck screw . Much better screw than just a regular wood screw like a drywall screw etc . Quick question. Were did you get the little jars you used to put your spices in ?
Ground spices usually stay fresh 1-3 years. They last the longest if they are stored in airtight containers away from heat, humidity and sunlight. I go through most of them pretty regularly and they never last a year here. But the ones that are rarely used, I probably replace every year or so. It just depends upon the spice.
This new rack holds 51 jars like I have there. They are slightly wider than a typical spice jar that comes from the store, so it would hold more of those, but I'm not sure how many.
I Love It. It’s actually just what I was looking to make for my spices, and also my collection of Nail Dip Powders.

That looks awesome and simple to build. Looks like I might have to build one of these.
Watching your older videos on this rainy day :-) Getting lots of ideas for our new home!

That's a wonderful spice rack, and I also agree those are the best screws for almost everything.
Thank you!
Super cute. And your blue and white hen on the counter is darling, too!

I really like this design as it’s easily adaptable to almost any placement. Going to modify it a bit and hang inside my pantry door. 👍🏻

Nice thanks for your idea.

Looks great im the kitchen! How often do you have to replace your spices? I know there's only a short shelf life before they lose their savour.

Looks great. My question is how do you see what spice is what?
They are labeled on the tops of each jar.
How many jars are on your rack?
