You will be surprised at the dodgy things done by the investigators in order to close certain cases. Sometimes real perpetrators are let go and the scapegoat will rot in prison. At law school I studied too many cases and I’ve had deep conversations with the high court judges to make me believe that it is just a rigged system meant to oppress the poor at the benefit of the powerful.
